  1. Had surgery yesterday and it went way better than I expected. Only complaint is nausea from the anesthesia. Pain is a level 4 not even using the PCA pump. Hope everybody has the same results. Just started having stomach spasms but only when I sip water. I'm up and walking with no issues.
  2. Surgery was yesterday and not in too much pain. Way more less than I thought. Nausea has been horrible. I had to ask for zofram. Tonight the stomach spasms started but only once in a while. No regrets at all

  4. Hi everybody! I'm in Charlotte also and I'm looking for buddies. Seems like we have a lot of people her in NC getting sleeved My surgery date is tomorrow and I'm ready to start this journey. Send me a friend request so we can share our journeys and support each other!

  7. Thanks for the responses. Believe it or not, you guys have helped more than I can express. I can say that I've done a 360 from this morning panic frenzy . Ready to get a good nights rest and then check in at noon, surgery is at 3pm. I will keep you all posted. Tonight I'm going to celebrate with taking "good bye" pictures of the extra pounds ???????????????? that will be in a few months!

  10. I called the insurance company once a week until I had an answer. They didnt mind at all. Then I got the ball rolling. I knew before the doctors office did,

  12. One last question... did yiu guys require somebody to be home with you the week after surgery or were you able to manage? I'm a sinle mom so just trying to see if I will be ok with friends just stopping by and checking on me.
  13. Guys thank you so much for the responses! The comments and support have already made a huge difference. First lock the widow made me laugh and cry at the same time brought tears to my eyes reassuring me that it will all indeed be ok. I will rock out and do great! xoxoxo
  14. Any advice for calming my nervous pre surgey? I'm scheduled for the 2/10 at noon and I feel like I'm going to jump out of the window.
