  1. Thanks guys. I think I may need to go inest in a new body pillow! Maybe that will help whenI can finally start sleeping on my side. HAve you found your sleeping positions changing after you loose weight? Do you sleep better?
  2. Am a side sleeper because if I sleep on my back, I get numbness in my legs to the point it's painful (hard to describe). I keep reading that after surgery you can't sleep on your side. I am getting sleeved Tuesday and I need to know if there are any options on how to make this work.
  3. Go on a Disney Cruise with the Fam and buy lots of pictures. I almost never buy pics on a cruise cause I hate the way I look

  10. Got insurance approval today. Now waiting on test results but they went ahead and finalized my date of April 29. Preop later this week. Now gotta work my butt off to get these 10-15 pounds off by The 28th
  11. You took the words right out of my keypad.
  12. Your stomach was probably still swollen from the trauma of surgery. It wouldn't have healed enough for that kind of food yet.
  13. Same date here if all of my tests come back in time
  14. Really? I was told breads would be a big no no afterwards
  15. It's pure carbs. All bread. Won't be able to eat that after????
  16. Is there such a thing? I've seen this new trend of Cronuts (sp?) in several places recently and I keep thinking I'll never get to have one. I still have to loose a few more pounds before my surgery in 9 days and I'm considering trying to find a place that sells them tomorrow do I can say I've had them at least once. It doesn't help that my hubby goes on and on about how good they are
  17. Totally. We went to Red Lobster and I ordered gumbo so I could eat the broth only. No cheddar bay biscuits. Everyone was asking if I wasn't hungry.
  18. I had this exact same reaction yesterday when a friend's husband posted a pic of her. She is a little over a year out and the excess skin was sooo bad. Then someone took a pic of me at church this morning and I realized I can find ways to cover up all of that excess skin (until PS) but I can't hide this fat body.
  19. My NUT said to avoid them since their protein source is extremely poor and your body doesn't digest it so it basically is a waste of money and calories

  22. I'm supposed to be on my preop diet for the 29th. I have three kids and it's time to put together their Easter baskets. I didn't get much candy this year on purpose and didn't get any of my favorites but there's chocolate in the closet and I feel like it's calling my name. Help!!!!! 23. Thanks for the info. I really want to be one of those who can just get up and walk around within a few days. I have a very high tolerance for pain and I can't stand being stuck in one place for too long. I read about so many who have complications and I want to do anything I can not to have any of those side effects if I can help it. I know that some are unpreventable but I want to do everything I can to make sure my body is ready
