  1. Thank you, I'm going to go through with it. All positive vibes from here on out
  2. Hello all, I have my surgery tomorrow at 2pm. I am scheduled to be there at 12 noon. My emotions are all over the place. I never had surgery before, so I'm anxious, excited, scared, nervous. Etc... I've been overweight my entire life and have done yo-yo dieting. I started out my journey in July of 2013 weighing in at 325. Through diet and exercise I am now at 265 with the pre-liquid diet... Dont know if it's normal to go back and forth on this decision for the past 3-4 days, asking my self I only need to lose 65-70 pounds. My medical problems are sleep apnea, that is my major reason for having this surgery. Also I suffer from panic attacks & anxiety. Is it normal to second guess my decision in going into surgery? Thank you, Jorge
  3. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of pre-existing condition did you have?
  4. Did your surgeon tell you anything before the surgery?
  5. Hello all, I'm getting ready for my surgery and was just wondering if anyone had any tooth problems before surgery. I had a root canal done and my crown fell off and I also have a couple of cavities that needs to be fixed and one chipped tooth. Was wondering if I should wait until after the surgery to fix that. Anyone else have these problems before surgery?

  8. My surgery is 2 weeks away and I am super nervous. I am so sorry for your loss, I know how it feels to lose a sister. I lost my sister when she was 22 years old. Because of your experience, I am really contemplating doing the surgery, I'm going back and forth on my decision, I'm scared.
  9. Hello all, I finally got my date date for Feb 3. I am a little nervous about the procedure. I just have a couple of questions. For a while now I've been having what I can only call air hunger. I'm constantly yawning to try to get a deep breath in, and sometimes that's a struggle. I've done all sorts of tests and everything came back good. Has anyone ever experienced this before? I am just worried that my air hunger would get in the way of the anesthesia. Thank you, Jorge
