Awesome malijah ..... great news .....and yes excited and nervous ....getting all my ducks in row to make sure the home front runs smooth while I am gone.......I live 3 hours away from hospital so will spend a few nights in a motel to make sure theirs no complications. I am waiting for them to let me know which day

  4. Hello they should let you know you can get the Vitamins in chewable or liquid..... and then if your on any medicines you can ask your pharmists if their crushable or come in liquid for after surgery ............ hope that helps

Congrats...............i also received my surgery approval .......Monday i will get my date they said the 5th or 24th of march,,,,,,,,,,,,been on 1000 cal diet for about 2 or so month i found a Protein drink that i like didn't think that was going to happen lol.......the week liquid is going to be stuff.....hope all goes well for you ............

  7. I received the call telling me my insurance has approved me !!!! They will call back Monday to let me know if it will be the 5th or the 24th of March. So EXCITED!!!!! Been a long 7 months, but its worth it ............have learned a lot about myself.. I am so ready to start this new journey

  9. Yes one day at a time........and all this super bowl food is tempting ........keep your mind on the goal a head of ya were all here for you !!! I know when it comes to my pre op liquid diet I am going to need lots of support .....
  10. I have medicare......10 days would be awesome !!!! Been worried about this protein shake thing couldn't find one I like received the Unjury sample pack and I can handle the chocolate one ya!! so hopefully I will like the others and the chicken soup...
  11. Thanks Kookichu.........I sure hope not .....they said it could take up to 6 weeks...lol I guess whats six weeks......I just did six months right.......How are you doing ? Congratulations on getting through the requirements! Insurance approval shouldnt take too long...a week or so. Best wishes to you.

Well I made it through the 6 months of Dr. visits and Dietitian appts. .......and all the test the Bariatric Clinic wanted. ..Met all the insurance requirements Bariatrics team has givin me the ok for surgery now we wait for the final approval from insurance .............. I am so ready ......They have me on a 1000 calorie diet .....not going to be hard I already been doing it . One day at a time...... HI HO HI HO......... To losing the weight I go ......
  14. Oh I hear ya ... Been jumpin through ins hoops for 6 months now hopefully get a date jan 30.... I have been reading any thing I can on the whole experience ... cant wait to get a surgery date !!
