  1. Bowen prep was not required by my surgeon. Thank God! Lol.
  2. You could try. Let me know how that goes. Ha!
  3. Welp...how's the bowel prep going? Lol.
  4. Will keep you in my prayers. Good luck!
  5. You're in the thick of it now, but it will get easier. I have had many surgeries and this has been the hardest recovery so far. Especially the first three days. But you'll get better. Get some rest and walk when you can. You're going to be fine!
  6. That's now mine went. I got in pretty quick too. Good luck!
  7. Hooray! Have you been waiting long?
  8. Yay! So glad to hear she is out and on her way to recovery! Thanks Lindsay.
  9. For those of you who go to a chiropractor, how long post-op did you wait before you went back? I really need an adjustment but my chiropractor wants me to be cleared by my surgeon. Just curious what others have experienced. I will talk to my surgeon when I see him next week.
  10. And last night I slept most of the night on my side. I feel great today! I sleep so much better that way. Hopefully my fellow side sleepers can get there soon.
  11. Anytime. I am just paying it forward. It helps knowing people are on your side. And you really do have this. Now you just need to get through the IV. Don't be afraid to sound like a baby. And ask about the numbing shot. Honestly, it didn't work for me last time but t did every time before that. But that also stings really good. I just want you prepared. Not meaning to scare you.
  12. Yay LeighAnne! I'm so glad you're there! Next stop...Sleevedom!
  13. Yay LeighAnne! I'm so glad you're there! Next stop...Sleevedom!
  14. You are gonna be just fine. You have got this handled
  15. Reaching out is a really good first step. You need to get in to counseling with a therapist who specializes in eating disorders. Then you need to go back to shakes. You have already gotten all of this advice. So you need to know why you have fallen back on these behaviors. It was ultimately a choice. Figure that out in counseling and you will be far better equipped to deal with the next tough time that comes your way. I wish you all the good things you deserve!
  16. Yeah. That trapped gas can be a nasty bitch. And it makes moving hurt more! Good luck Hun. We know you can do it.
  17. Glad to hear from you cilliworks. Just walk as soon as you can and start moving that gas out! Welcome to the losers bench!
  18. Go Leigh Anne! We are so excited for you. Take a deep breath. You're almost there!
  19. Oh man. What a rough day. You will get there. Maybe you friend will check in as well? Ha! In all seriousness though I hope she's okay. Safe travels!
  20. Fell asleep last night on my back. Woke up to roll on my side and slept a few hours that way. It hurt rolling back but nothing excruciating and I needed that quality sleep! Just brace with a pillow. That's what I did. And I was so out of it. Almost like I was dreaming I was rolling to my side. Lol. I'm four days post-op.
  21. I know SuperFab is having hers tomorrow and there may be one more. You are in good company!
  22. Good luck! Keep us posted on your recovery.
  23. Glad to hear you're doing well. Walk as soon as you can. This is he first surgery I have had where I had trouble waking up and getting out of bed and its really effected my recovery. Just keep swimming! Lol. Get some rest too. You deserve it. Wahoo!!!
  24. Well figure it out woman! The sooner you do the sooner you can attempt to relax.
  25. You could mess with him. Be like "God's creation? Are you calling me fat?! Cuz the earth is round, the plains are wide and God made hippopotamuses."
