Hello! Starting pre-op diet tomorrow which is strictly liquids. However I am allowed a low carb yogurt daily. Does anyone know of a low carb yogurt aside from Kroger?? I live on Long Island so there isn't a Kroger nearby. Thanks

I'm starting my pre op diet tomorrow and I need some tips on how to get through this. I have three little ones and not cooking is not an option for me... Tomorrow is going to be especially hard because two of my girls are having surgery (tonsils & adenoids and ear tubes) so I don't know how I'm going to do without caffeine! Please help! I really want to do well and lose some weight before my surgery. Everything is moving so quickly now and I'm still a nervous wreck!!

I don't know yet. My pre-op appt is 5/1 a week b4 the surgery but my guess is they will stop all vitamins.

I am so sorry for you! Try to use this experience as your motivation to find a better facility/surgeon?! Wow... My heart goes out to you as I'm still pre op and the range of emotions that I'm feeling now and my surgery is a month away!!! I cannot imagine what you feel/felt like. Think of it as a sign...good luck!!

I am feeling the same way and my surgery is May 7th. I feel like the thought of surgery is all consuming and I'm driving myself insane. I think I change my mind about 1000x a day.

Thanks Georgia! I'm definitely going to do some more research. My surgeon said that I will have to take prescription medication for the reflux after surgery. I also think a lot of the reflux that I'm experiencing now is due to my poor diet. Thanks again for your advice!

Tomorrow is a new day. Don't beat yourself up. If it makes you feel any better I am eating like I'm going to the electric chair!!! Many food funerals and I don't plan on stopping until my pre op liquid diet on 4/23.
