  1. PamL 6 August. I'm new to this chat stuff...hope I don't mess anyone else up...
  2. The first cheat was some mashed potatoes and some shredded chicken. Last night, my husband bought Chinese food for him and the kids and I had a bowl of the wonton soup broth and a crab rangoon. Not exactly a soft food, but really good. I'm very new at this chat room stuff, hope that I'm doing this right.
  3. Don't worry, I cheated as well because I needed to bite into something crunchy. I have been told that if you chew it really, really well and you didn't throw-up then it is o.k! I was banded on 6 August and am doing full liquids, with an occasional few bites of regular food (chewed really fine). I have been o.k.
  4. Hi New Girl, I'm new also. I had my surgery on 6 August and did pretty well. I did have some nausea and some gas pains high in my chest. The residents thought that I was having a heart attack and did an emergency EKG and blood work, but everything was o.k. I have lost about 14 lbs so far. The past couple of days I have had pain in my back around where my kidneys are, so I have a call into the surgeon. How's it going for you.?
