Abdominal binder for traveling?
I wore my binder pretty much 24/7 except when I was in the shower for the first 3 weeks or so. It was the best thing ever. I got 2 of them (they out one on me in surgery and gave me another to take home) which was nice so I clips wash one at a time. If you have em put it on you in surgery, it will get blood sf stuff on it.

When were you able to sleep confortably in your bed?
I have pillows on each side of me, and hope each night they'll help. Some nights they do, some they don't.

When were you able to sleep confortably in your bed?
This is why I slept on my couch for 4 weeks. I absolutely can not sleep on my back. And if I do fall asleep like that, it's only for an hour or so. I still struggle, but like I said above, I finally begged begged my doc for something and it's helped a bit.

When were you able to sleep confortably in your bed?
I wasn't able to sleep in my bed for 4 weeks. And even then, it was hit or miss if it was comfortable. I'm almost 7 weeks out now, and I have to wear lidocaine Patches at night to be able to sleep fairly comfortably. I can only sleep on my right side and some nights are better than others. The bigger incision is still really painful, so I had to beg my doc for something to give me some relief at night at least. I can't wait for this pain to stop.

meds
I can take pills, but I have to take pills 15 minutes apart. Super annoying.

Any February 2014 Sleevers?
I've also noticed if I lower my cals for a day or two then go back up to 7-800 cals i lose easier. I always average about 25-35 g of fat a day. Maybe that's why I haven't really stalled(had a 3 week stall but it was short) or didn't gain even during my period?

Any February 2014 Sleevers?
I eat lots of deli meat and cheese. I call em my lunch meat roll ups. While I love em, I'm ready for the next phase so I can add some variety.

Any February 2014 Sleevers?
My doc said that you can take advil as long as it's not repeatedly or often. I've taken it a handful of times, one day on my doctors orders as it was was a week and a half after surgery and I pulled muscles apart in my healing incision. He instructed me to take it. Still does on occasion because of the pain I still have there.

packing my bag
I asked my surgeon and then the nurses at the hospital about gas x. I wasn't allowed to have it, and was told it wouldn't work on gas in my abdomen. I tried it anyways when I got home and it did NOTHING for the gas. The only thing they did was walking and moving around.

packing my bag
My doctor took some at my pre op appt and then I had my roommate take some the night before. Wasn't asked at the hospital, and they wouldn't even weigh me.

packing my bag
I wore home what I wore there. I brought an extra pair of underwear and pants I didn't even touch. I also didn't touch anything else I brought(ipad and slippers) but my chapstick and phone/phone charger. I wasn't alert enough to do anything but take a walk and sleep. So basically all I needed was chapstick and my phone and charger. You won't be able to change out of your gown, nor will you want to. I used a second gown as a robe when walking. I also never out underwear or pants on until I left. I didn't care about em and it was easier without them. They gave me my heparin shots in my thigh, so pants would have been in the way. As for personal care items, the his portal has everything you'll need.

Any February 2014 Sleevers?
Yeah. The amount of money I spent on tampons... Oh I got to a point that I would take the 3 weeks of pills as many packs as I could until my body just would finally bleed. Sometimes it'd be 3 but sometimes 4-4.5 packs. I hate periods so I'd go as long as I could. I was on depo for probably half my life too. I miss that stuff. Hahaha

Any February 2014 Sleevers?
Yeah. I'm opposite. Hah. Never had "regular" periods in the pill. My favorite ones were the 55 abd 47 days periods I had, with only 30 days between them. Thankfully that was about 2 years ago. But they still weren't normal or short. Uggggg.

Any February 2014 Sleevers?
Yeah. I'll have to see if it is really gone this time. I have also had it where it stopped for a day or two, then I'd spot, nothing, spot, etc. But the period I had a few weeks prior to surgery (I had been off bc for a month) and this one were both short. And after stopping the Bc in January, my period came on like click work in Feb, and not again till now.. If going of bc will help me to be regular again, I'm not going back on it. Haha. I've had stuck won't l wonky periods the last few years, that I'm ready for regular ones. Hah. I hate being a girl when it's shark week. Hahaha

Any February 2014 Sleevers?
Mine haven't ever been like that, but I used to get cramps as a warning it was coming too. Didn't this time. Thankfully it came when I went to go pee before bed. And pretty sure I went to bed it's over. Basically 3.5 days. I'll take it. Haha

Any February 2014 Sleevers?
I feel reeeeeeally fortunate. I started my period monday before I went to bed. I think its already pretty much done. I also had almost no cramps. However, Tuesday and yesterday it was SUPER heavy flow. Like, changing tampons every 3-4 hours. Regular or super ones. Which its never like that for me. I also feel lucky that I can take the pain meds on an empty stomach with no problems. Glad it was an easy fix though!

What do i do?!?

Hospital Bag
That's what my surgeon said. I tried it when I got home anyways and it didn't work.
