  1. Small world, I live in spring lake too! Glad to hear you're doing well.
  2. My labs are also good. The only thing that was "low" on them was my b12. But not super low. My number was like 328, and it can go as low as in the 100's, but my doc prefers bariatric patients to be over 500. I got a b12 shot this month and will get one next month. Will be interesting to see of it went up at all.
  3. I do. I got the okay to keep taking them until at least 6 months.
  4. Ps. I use the app called Instaframe to do my side by side pictures.
  5. Apparently my pics didn't post! I'll try again.
  6. Here's my before and after. It was 20 weeks last Wednesday. It was that morning that I was actually able to look in the mirror and see a smaller me.
  7. Thank you! I kick my own @ss everyday, but honestly, I'm loving it! I'm so happy with the new me, and how far I've come!
  8. I'm doing amazing. I was 20 weeks out yesterday. HW 314 SW 296 CW 224 So I've lost 90 pounds since the liquid diet. I can't even believe I used to weigh 90 lbs more than now. Crazy to think I carried that around everyday.
  9. So I was 20 weeks out yesterday, and I'm down 90 pounds. I can't even believe it! I want to lose 20 pounds in the next 4 weeks so I'll have lost 100 by 6 months out. I workout everyday, run/walk trails. I got this! We're all doing awesome!
  10. Me. Well, my back was ALWAYS sore. I actually started going to a chiropractor and it's totally helping. I feel so much better!
  11. Totally jealous. I haven't played tennis since varsity in high school, due to the added weight. I can't wait to play again. Good luck!
  12. Thank you! I had someone tell me they almost didn't recognize me the other day. Totally made my year. Haha.
  13. I did a side by side of my face. It's crazy the difference. Don't mind the redness in the most recent one. I had just gotten my brows and lip waxed. Hah.
  14. You wanna know what's super fun? Being super dehydrated, and getting a bladder infection. Thankfully it's not bad and the only symptom I have is frequent peeing(not much, just all the time) no burning or anything. But man. I've got to be serious about getting my fluids in. Ugggg.
  15. I actually just started to see a chiropractor last week. My lower back has been bothering me since survery, but has gotten more "annoying" the more weight I lose. I'm down 82 lbs and my balance and everything is totally off. I've felt off kilter since losing maybe 50 lbs or so. I'm hoping between the weight training and chiro visits that I can start feeling less weak and tight (something I never thought was possible, hah) and getting back in line. I've had 2 adjustments and actually think they've already helped a little. I'm anxious to see how it all goes. After losing a bit more weight I totally want to get into yoga/pilates.
  16. So I took my 16 week pics tonight. I'm pretty proud of myself. 314 lbs in the dark purple. 235 lbs tonight in the mint green. So happy. ♡
  17. 16 weeks out yesterday and down 79 lbs! Wooo! So excited and happy.
  18. Thanks! I haven't been to the Detroit zoo since I was a kid! I'm totally jealous. Camping will be fun! If you come to grand haven you should get let me know!
  19. That's awesome!! On all accounts. And same. I've lived and done more in the last month than I have in a LONG time. I went off roading, muddin, silver lake dunes, to Ludington to watch the sunset, to Mackinac island this past Monday, and sleeping bear dunes Friday. Most of these things were spur of the moment things, but more than I've done in probably 5 years. And WAY more fun than in the past. Part of it is a new friendship that has turned into a "sister from another mister" type deal, and we both make each other better, and love to do fun, spur of the moment things. I'm 1000000000% happy I had surgery. The fun I've had in the last month has been more than worth it. Yay to us! For coming back to the land of the living! Ha.
  20. I went to sleeping bear dunes for the first time ever friday, and I was able to do the dune climb! Without wanting to die! It was absolutely amazing. I wouldn't have even ever tried 4 months ago. It's amazing what losing 76 lbs does!! That tiny ant looking thing at the top is me! I just read that it's 110 feet tall. I was so proud of myself! So proud I boight an annual pass so I'll go back and do it again!
  21. So, total NSV! I climbed a huge dune at Sleeping Bear national dunes a few hours north of me in Michigan. Would have NEVER attempted it 4 months and +76 lbs ago. I was so proud of myself I had to call my dad as soon as I got to the top! You can barely see, but that's me at the top! Wooo!
  22. Girl, you look absolutely fantastic!
  23. I'm shedding a tiny bit a couple weeks ago? But nothing significant. Thankfully.
