HI..I am in Laurel. My surgeon was Dr. William Avera in Pascagoula/Ocean Springs. Nice to meet you!

I was banded June 9. I was having a lot of pain.I was sent to the hospital for tests and it has been discovered that I have pneumonia. I am on leviquin and was told to walk and try to cough. This is so disheartening.

I had my surgery JUNE 9. The whole experience was great.

HI Ya'll! I am Terri and I was banded on JUNE 9. I have done very well except for this gas im holding in my left shoulder. I know this will work out.........literally..TEEHEE! It is occurring to me..I am on my way to a skinnier.....healthier me. I find myself looking at magazines.,and seeing clothes and thinking..I CAN WEAR THAT SOON! I was banded this morning..and wondering..can I have jello?? Or..is it just liquids .....i am starving..but im determined to do it right.

Hey! Laurel is 70 miles from the coast..I lived in Jackson for 16 years..and we went to Memphis a fairly often. It is so great to know Im not alone here. The place where im having my surgery is two and a half hours from my home,,so I wont be attending the after care. It will be important for me to communicate with others..This board will help!! I teach First Grade...and May 27 was my last day! I will be banded June 9, and will be moving to a different school. I will be teaching Third Grade there.

i am in laurel..and im to be banded on june 9. I need a boost...i am scared to death...I need this surgery...terribly. I read the horror stories...i know its crazy...haha

HI As the date gets closer..I find myself getting more and more scared. I read posts..where people are telling horror stories..I am a self payer..and I keep wondering...is this the right thing? I have had trouble with scheduling.I have had the date of June 9 for a while now..and they have called and are wanting to push it back another week. I had the date of june 9 in my mind and had made so many arrangements..this has added to my stress. I hear of over fills..under fills..and i am two and a half hours from my doc. What will i do? I know..I am sounding like a whiner..but I am scared.

Hey everyone...I will be banded on June 9. I am working hard to finish my school year.{I teach First Grade}I am sooooo tired these days from all I have to do.I want to know if any of you have any ideas of supplements I can start taking now to help me with energy. I saw liquid B 12 at GNC Saturday. ,,,was wondering how that would do. On the other hand..I m having trouble sleeping. too! Shesssh...I sound like a mess!!
