  6. OR but have to hold myself accountable. I have been feeling discouraged since I haven't been losing the lbs like I thought I would. I have had some nsvs though so that is motivating me a little. But the past week has been a bad week food wise. ( I haven't hit my green zone yet so I don't have a ton of restrictions) start my support classes on Thursday. So hopefully that will help. I have definitely noticed that I have been a lot hungrier since I have been running regularly. I know Protein and Water will help curb hunger. But it isn't enough to stop me, the hunger is still there. Does anyone know how long this will last? Or have any other advice how to curb this hunger?

  10. Thank you, you too. The hospital I was banded in "requires" you to go to these meetings. They in the past have seen a 36% fat loss in patients who don't go and a 79% in patients that do. I am in it to win it and I want to be as successful as possible. I hope you are able to find one soon! Good luck to you!
  11. Hello, I was banded on 12/17. I have my first fill on 1/3, I'm very ready! I haven't been an ideal patient since having my band. But I am ready to talk to my surgeon on Friday. Also I start my bariatric support meetings and have an appointment with my dietitian at the end of the month. Ready to get my mind better in the game and get some help and advice through this. Lapbandchic73, I know exactly how you feel!

  13. Hello! I was banded on 12/17. Just the past 2-3 days I have felt something under my skin. If I am laying in bed on my side and I roll over I can feel something move. I am assuming it is my tube from the band to the port. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks!

  15. I just got banded on 12/17. I went against my surgeons orders and ate five days after. I was hungry! I learned my lesson! It hurt so bad! I didn't go back to liquids, but I have learned what agrees with me and what doesn't. Also to CHEW! I cannot do bread at all. I have had some portion control issues occasionally. I still feel hungry not long after I eat. I'm learning, not like I was told but my way. I have my first appointment with my surgeon on the third for my first fill. So I will go through all of this with him. I also start my bariatric support group and visit with my dietitian at the end of the month so I am hoping that I will get on a better track.
