  4. I started packing up my "big clothes" as soon as I realized they were too big or others told me there were quite big on me! I have kept 1 pair of my "big" pants and a "big" t-shirt for reference, but everything else that is too big has been donated! I'm 6 months out and down ~ 4-5 pant sizes and 3 shirt sizes so my wardrobe has turned over several times. Luckily, I was reluctant to get rid of "perfectly good" clothes that I had outgrown since I was always trying to diet and was hoping to someday get back into them....well, I've now gone thru all of those clothes and have had to start buying some new pants and tops! :-) Will need a whole new Fall/Winter wardrobe later this year.

  6. I am also at 4 weeks post-op and hit a stall about 10 days ago….super, super frustrating!!! I got the same advise from everyone and just kept doing what I was. I got on the scale this AM and was down 0.5 pounds. Not much, but it's something!! Another thing I was advised to do was to re-check my measurements. If you have not taken any, I recommend you start! I found that I had lost ~ 9 inches total. I also have been taking pictures and could really see a difference in them when I looked at my last 2 sets - 2 weeks apart. So despite no weight loss at the scale, I was still loosing inches!! And I had also dropped another pants size. My dietician also sent me an article and it was also very encouraging that this is totally normal and will pass and the weight will start to drop again very soon. Good luck (to all of us)!

  9. I just had my sleeve last week (1/27/14) with Dr. Watkins in West Chester, OH. But I live in NKy. After my first 3-4 days, things have gone very well!!!

  11. I have my gastric sleeve on January 27th with Dr. Watkins in Cincinnati. I know it sounds funny to say I'm looking forward to something involving surgery, but I really am!! Can't wait to use this powerful tool to get this weight off and get healthier again!!!!
