  1. Well! I'm in worse than a stall. Lost 7 lbs in one week a few weeks ago and gained 4 lbs over the last two weeks. I have no idea how it can happen when I take in 700-900 calories a day. This week I'm focusing on lower carbs and I'll keep it moving. I know it must and will pass, but GEEZ…it's rough!
  2. Hi, April! I think you're right on. I'm two months out and I'm down 43 pounds as of last week. My dr suggested that I'd lose about 50 in the firs three months and then it will slow down. Chin up!! You're doing great! And remember weight loss can vary so widely between people depending on so much it's hard to compare with others. Just know you're in the same range as I am. :-)
  3. Feeling very grateful for my sleeve today. HW - 276 SW 12/18 - 274 CW - 233 Down 8 lbs this week!!! Goodbye 240's............
  4. The Isopure drinks are the easiest to stomach for me. I especially like the alpine punch. They are clear liquids and have a lighter whey after taste. At GNC you can buy one and taste it. The run around $5 a bottle. I drink 1/2 a bottle a day.
  5. Well it's cute!!!! And I hope easier to manage. I may follow you.
  6. HW. 276 SW. 274. 12/18 CW. 241 Was really hoping to hit the 230's this week. Really trying to be super grateful!!! ????
  7. HW 276 SW 274 CW 243 Total 33lbs. Down
  8. CupofJojo, I would use this time to get organized and stay busy! Organize your closet since things change so quickly postop, clean out your pantry/fridge and give food away, try out protein supplements (not too many it can get expensive). It will go by fast though and it will be surgery day before you know it. Good luck to you! back2barb78, Excellent suggestions. Wish I had done that! Time goes by so quickly.

  10. I'm wondering if anyone has subscribed to any WLS magazines and find them particularly encouraging and informative that they could recommend? It was great to see the online magazine on this site, but are there others? Thanks!
  11. Snack, snack and snack! Too much of it. Not enough water, at all! I had kettle corn at the movies. I paid for it dearly. I had my first, and so far only, dumping moment! Needless to say, I won't be doing that again anytime soon. I also started my solid food phase a day early! Ugh! Sounds bad when I list it out. ????
  12. I added you all to MFP. I'm stabuch. Thanks!
  13. Funny. My sister is Terri Lynne too! I added you to MFP. Stacie.
  14. I had the same problem and sent mine to a fellow Dec Sleever! Wishing you success!
  15. HW - 276 SW - 274 CW - 245 Total down - 31lbs. Goodbye 250's plus........
  16. Very close to ONEderland!! Exciting.…keep it up.
  17. I love it too! I was cleaning out my extra bedroom recently and found a seat belt extender that I "stole" because I didn't want to face that humiliation of asking for one again! I've lost about 30 pounds and hopefully i can say goodbye to being squished in airline seats. I may now be able to even fit comfortably in the airplane bathroom!!!! thanks for sharing. Stacie
  18. Love your pic. I can't wait to post. You look great!
  19. Please add me too. I need the support! Stacie
  20. I was sleeved in 12/18. The first week I had many thoughts of "what did I do to myself, this is permanent". It gets so much better quickly, if you do as others have suggested. I also had a hernia repaired which makes drinking and eating a bit tricky at times. After the first two weeks, I've been nothing but thankful. It does it better…I promise.
  21. I've had trouble with the protein as well. I'm not a shake or milk person so my Isopure drinks are really helping. They are fruity and clear so I can tolerate them. One bottle is 20oz of fluid and 40g of protein. Great for getting both fluid and protein. They are sugar free and 160 calories per bottle. Now that I'm eating more I only drink half a bottle a day. You can get them online or at GNC.
  22. Well, I've joined the stall/gain club. So glad I've seen others successfully work trough the deed and disappointment. Staying focused and this week = more movement, more water, more protein!! HW - 276.3 SW - 274 CW - 250.1 ( gained 1.8 lbs) Have a good week friends!!
