Hi where did you have your surgery at in CT? How is everything? I am new as for today!

Hi all:whoo: Has anyone had their lap band surgery in Connecticut? I am waiting for the doctor to call me for my consultation with his at Yale New Haven Hospital soon, just wondering if anyone has got banded there before... RHonda:scared:

Hi everyone:ranger: My name is rhonda and I currently live in New Haven, Connecticut.. I am a full time nurse and receptionist at a clinic.. I have officially made up my mind to go for the lap band.. After being overwight all my life I have finally decided to fight back.. I have done almost all the step requirements you have to do for surgery except actually meet the surgeon and get a established date of surgery.. I think these forums are very helpful and I bless everyone:o on their decision to change their life just like I wish too. Rhonda Sanchez:)

Hi sll I am a newcomer here, looking for new friends and support to get throught the journey of my soon to be lap band surgery.. I have all my pre-req done as for psych eval and nutritionst eval.. Just waiting for a consultation with the Doctor.. So does anyone know what the next step is after seeing the doctor? thanks Rhonda:faint:

:help:Hi all I am really new to this.. I am finally making the decision of having the land band which I know will transform my life. I had my psych eval last Thursday and YES it took about 2 hours. The advantange of this psych evaluaton is to determine that you are a good candidated for the surgery.. The Docotor who is going to do this surgery for you will determing with help of the nutrition eval and psych evalu if you have some issues as for eating or depression issues.. Sometimes their are people who have severe depression and due to this binges on food or others just have no control over food:hungry: at all, these evals just show the doctor the capacity of one's actions to see if they can succesfully stay on a strenouos diet after the lap band surgery..
