  1. Did you by chance have a hiatal hernia repaired? If so, that could be what you are experiencing. I walked around a lot and that really helped with the gas. I did not take any gas x strips or anything, I just walked. By day 4 the gas pains were minimal. Good luck to you
  2. Thanks everyone!!!
  3. Ok I totally agree with the protein lol I thought I was crazy for not being able to figure out how to get that much protein in haha. Thanks so much!!!
  4. Hi everyone I just had the lab band put in yesterday! I'm doing great and I am pretty confused on the liquids and getting 80grams of Protein in today and tomorrow. I have a clear Protein Drink and I was told to only have 8 ounces at a time. Any suggestions of how to get the proper amount of protein in these two days? Does anyone know how much Soup and Jello I can have at a time? I'm thinking I can mix some protein in with those... Thanks for your support
  5. Hi everyone! I just had the band surgery today. I'm feeling pretty great other than the gas pain and I've been walking around a lot!! I am a little confused about the protein intake. They say I need to have 80 grams a day. I can only have liquid so I have had water, a clear protein drink and chicken broth. Do I need to limit how much at a time I have on the chicken broth and clear protein drink? I just want to get the protein in yet I don't want to over do the liquids if that's possible. Thanks
