I'm a band to sleeve revision. Band was March 10, 2010. Sleeve December 30th, 2013.

I went with the band initially because I don't believe in cutting healthy organs. I lost 37 pounds pre band surgery, and 56 pounds post band surgery. Then I started to gain the weight back (43 pounds).

I decided to revise to a sleeve because I felt that the band was addressing satiety, but not hunger hormones. I'm hoping the surgery will make me less hungry. It's only a week and a half out, but so far, so good.

I learned about Bariatric Pal while reading "The BIG Book on the Gastric Sleeve." I didn't participate in any online support groups after my band surgery, and hope that joining this group will help me now.
