Guys, i am totally lost here, i am just back from a renowned doctor's clinic and he strongly recommended VBG over Lap Band saying Lap Band failure rate is way higher than VBG and that VBG is somewhat safer (what?!) than lap band. i was already thinking seriously about Lap Band and wanted to have it, but after this doctor's words i am totally lost and i dont know how to make a choice. please someone help :help:

Hello, I am new here and i am really glad i found this place. i am planning to have lap band soon (early september) but i am lost in deciding whether or not its the right option for me, since i heard and read that gastric bypass is the "Gold standard" and all that.. i know its safer and all, but i do like food and i dont know how my life will be like after lap band... any information is highly appreciated..
