Approved today, got the call I've been waiting on for (6) days to be exact, Briefly talked to me surgeon's office, The patient coordinator asked me how soon I wanted to have my surgery. I told her ASAP. So hopefully sometime in May its going down. This sight has been so helpful. Will keep you all posted. Wishing the best for everyone.

Congrats. Submitted my paperwork today can't wait until I get that call. How long did it take for you from time of submittal to final authorization

Hi sweetcheeks14 hope all is well. I am a miami future sleever. Got a pre op evalua7 that I'm in the process of completing. What psych. Docyor did you use. Did your insurance require you to have a referral. Mine did thus far. For the gi doctor sleep apnea doctor etc. I do have a costco card. Oh what surgeon is doing your surgery.

I too have avmed. I'm still in the pre op clearance stage. My bmi is just at 40 with no other medical problems but several of my coworkers have already had the surgery and most of them said it took 2 to 3 days for approval. So I pray that I experience the same. Good luck
