Very short tempered and not patient---HELP!
I don't know if it's because I stopped taking my anxiety meds (they're so big and cumbersome to break and take 3x a day (because it was ex release before which won't work now)... but I have NO patience. When my toddler or baby are acting like little kids...(Normal)...I get so irritated and frustrated with them...like too quickly. Like a rage taking over me. And same with how I've been with my husband. I am going NUTS at home not being able to drive just for this 1 week and the anxiety is out of control... suck it up and start taking the meds 3x a day? Something else? I'm 1 week post op today!

I'm home from surgery
Feeling pretty good, just sore and tired. I'm on stage 1 and want to have a 1/4 cup of SF pudding. How much of a Jello pudding cup is that, a half of the little cups they come in?

Home now, doing ok. A little sore but feel pretty good overall. Just hope I can keep up on all the things I need to (water, taking temp, drain measurement, Rx's, walking, protein etc) and taking care of my kids (who are very little!). Thanks!

Oh I wish I could make this, my surgery is 7/15 and my daughter's birthday party is on the 12th. I hope to join afterwards, didn't know there was a local group meet up I know closed groups on FB are not accessible to others but I thought you could still see who's in the group (or maybe I'm wrong?). Yes, people can see who is in the group, but ca't read the posts. I've thought of changing the status to SECRET for this reason. I'll join if it's secret lol...too many FB friend/acquaintances that I don't feel like sharing with yet...I'm still pre-op. Maybe at some point I'll be more open about it but not yet.

Here is a link explaining FB group privacy...sounds like closed groups ARE visible to public (except for posts). Secret is totally not seen by public. Can the group be changed?

its through my husband. Plan is an EPO. I just want to know how much the actual procedure coats so I can approximate 10%. I can't imagine its more than 20k max (so 10% would be $2000). Just want to plan ahead :-). Surgery is this July!

Question. I'm having surgery with Trivedi and have CDPHP. They said its a $500 copay and then 10% of the total surgery cost. Anyone know how much that is (approximately)? Or can share what they paid? Thanks in advance!

Thanks so much Anababy! I'm not even sure where to start regarding the Protein shakes. I started Biotin earlier but will get Vitamins ready too (along with sugar free stuff) Thank you!

my surgery is this July and
have a few questions: 1) Should I start getting rid of some of my clothes now? Like ones I don't like that much anyways? (will the changes be dramatic initially?) 2) I start a new job 2 weeks post surgery. Any advice on how to make this smooth as possible (also kids will go to camp/school and daycare for the first time)...lots of changes. I have an option for taking 1 more week if necessary. Will i be able to carry the baby a week or two after surgery? (she's almost 20lbs). 3) I lost the weight I was supposed to during my pre-ops but since have been eating poorly again (like "oh I'm not going to be able to do this anymore I should do it now")--I know its not good but HOW bad is this? 4) what else can I do NOW to help me post surgery? I've already made the changes on limiting coffee, drinking more Water, not drinking till 30mins after eating. What else? 5) I know I'll be anxious as we approach surgery, will they give me a Xanax or anything the day before? Maybe I'm making it to be a bigger deal in my head than I need to? Thanks!

That link doesn't work for me... Now I'm getting a little worried about starting a new job 2 weeks later...but I don't want to delay my surgery. I guess I'll see how I feel afterwards...so much change all at once :-\

Possible to start a
For the most part I'll be at a desk...and maybe a little walking to a few other offices, not too far. I have to drop my baby at daycare though (maybe I won't be able to pick her up physically?) and my kindergartner is fine... It's still a totally new job though so I'm a bit worried. I guess I can see right after how I feel, if I need a few days to start (like start later) I hope it's not a big problem...not the best way to start a new job but it's how everything worked out I guess.

Albany, New York....?
Hi Everyone! Hope everyone is doing well... I have a few questions. I recently got cleared and got a surgery date in July. If they gave me a date, can be positive that is the day I will actually have surgery and it not change? Because I'm making sure my spouse will have time off to help me and for my mom to be with the kids. This is the date the office gave me and I still have one more appointment with Trivedi, the "final" one. Also, I have been losing weight, doing well during the week, keeping track on myfitnesspal...but on weekends I still am eating some junk, almost like my "last" time. I know its probably better I don't but is there anything else I should know while I have about 1.5months till my surgery? I already started doing the water thing (drinking only 30mins after and trying to get in 64oz). So basically, what else can I do with this time to make things easier after? I still haven't started working out (I really need to find time within the kids' schedule) so I know I can do that. Anything else? THANKS!
