  1. ? For vets. Those of you that are over a year out, do you still eat like a bird? What is your average meal like?
  2. It got much better after day 4. I think my mind and body were getting adjusted to it. Praying for your surgery. I had mine Monday, 12/16 and it is a LOT more painful than I thought it would be. Thank goodness I'm not hungry b/c you literally can't eat after the surgery. My friend texted me earlier and told me not to cheat. I couldn't cheat if I wanted to. Just getting the liquids down are difficult. good luck everyone. Just keep telling yourself how much healthier and happier we will be once we heal. That's what I'm hanging on to!!
  3. I had my surgery on Monday. I felt my best the day of the surgery. Yesterday and so far today have been pretty awful. I hope I don't regret this decision bc it's done. I can barely even sip water. When I sip anything, I get horrible belly gas. It rips through me and is extremely painful. I can't lie down. I am sleeping in a chair in my living room. How fast will I feel better bc right now all I want to do is to scream and cry! And I'm not a baby. I take pain pretty well, but this is awful. The thought of not eating much, ok, but the thought of water hurting going down is really scaring me.
  4. Caroline, did you like Dr Weaver?
  5. Dr King in Oxford is doing my surgery. I live in Walls, MS in Desoto County. I'm 5 miles from Memphis. Updates ladies? My surgery is Dec 16. Nervous and excited. Pre-op diet is killing me.
  6. Wall, MS. Desoto county. Dr. Michael King from Oxford is doing my sleeve as well!! Surgery is 12/16. This pre-op diet is killing me. I'm getting frustrated looking at all these other pre-op diets where people can eat!! Really??! And are complaining??! What?
  7. I'm guess I'm just frustrated with so many people saying they can eat. I'm not suppose to eat anything except for SF jello! This would be a huge challenge for someone that is skinny, let alone an overweight person. Thanks for the encouragement! I know I can do it, just struggling right now.
  8. Y'all get to eat??! Mine is LIQUID ONLY besides Jello. Sugar free jello. That's it!!
  9. I'm so hungry right now I could eat toenails, and it's only day 2 of the liquid diet. Mind over matter!!!!!!!
  10. I got a date today, Dec 16th! Started the diet immediately today. Excited and scared all at the same time. You know you are addicted to food with it's been 15 hours and you are ready to hit someone! Haha
