  1. I AM OFFICIALLY ONE MONTH OLD!!!! (12/18 )
  2. Congrats to you both. Week 1 is certainly the worst! I encourage you both to just take it easy, take your meds, get lots of rest and don't stress! You will improve. I am 1 month out and still don't get my liquids in and sometimes I don't get my protein. Just do your best, knowing that it will get better.
  3. HW: 267 SW: 245 CW: 223 (might be less....I stay away from the scale!!!) Surgery date 12/18/13....almost 1 month
  4. I'm happy to be your buddy but won't be much help as I am only 1 month out. Elainejohnson3074@gmail.com
  5. Ask your NUT. The form is a template and sometimes they may let you deviate but follow their instructions.
  6. WELCOME TO THE LOSERS BENCH!!!!! How was your surgery?
  7. Things are good! In my body, I feel good! My Fitness Pal is an app where you are able to log your food and keep track of your meals. You are able to "friend" people and view their menu to get food ideas.
  8. WELP!!!! I guess you told them!!!! LOL!!!! Seriously, though, I had to do the same. I had to tell people that I wasn't looking for personal opinions or judgement, only support. I've made this decision and nothing you say will change my mind! My best suggestion is to find 1 or 2 supportive people and leave it at that. A very few from my family knows. In terms of the pain, though I know everyone is different, I can honestly say that my incisions NEVER hurt. The pain I had was my swollen tummy and my chest. I had severe nausea and dry heaving. Surgery was Wednesday, I was home on Thursday, at the grocery store on Saturday, church on Sunday, teleworked for a week and back to work the following week. I started back to Zumba right away, per drs orders. I just went at my own pace and didn't overdo it. I am noticing some loose skin but I'll take the battle scars!!! You'll do great!!!!
  9. Hey lady, now that mom is on board, how are things going?
  10. Howdy Ms. Curvy! I'm doing pretty good. How are you? Remind me where you are in the sleeve process?
  11. The scale is adding unnecessary stress! Work on diet and exercise.....the weight will take care of itself!
  12. Hi all...please send email addresses for MFP! Mine is elainejohnson3074@gmail.com. Thanks!!
  13. Blessings, are you getting your protein? 60-80g per day!
  14. Dreams....so sorry for you loss! I know you'll get through it and we are here to help! So proud of you for recognizing your area of weakness. Once you recognize, that's half the battle! Congrats on the weight loss and GO GET THOSE JEANS!!!!!
  15. Just do what's comfortable. One thing I'm doing is logging my measurements. I stay away from the scale!!! LOL!!!
  16. Hi Curvy! I think I'm gonna keep journaling here! There's a bit of comfort amongst a like-minded community. YT would be too much of an audience for me.
  17. Why do you feel the need to tell him? "Diet and exercise" is my go-to answer!
