  3. Kindle, this is not a competition or a game...this is OUR life! When one loses, we all lose! When one gains, we all gain! We are in this together!!!!!
  4. HW 267 SW 245 CW 213 I had a weight gain of 7lbs but I attributed it to several factors. So, I'm one pound away from my lowest weight, post-op!
  5. You are so great for doing this!!!! I wish there was a way we could all get together to have a time of celebration!!!!!!
  6. HW: 267 SW: 245 CW:212 14's are comfortable but I'm preparing for a smaller summer.....went to the thrift store and bought 12's and 10's!!!!! I LOVE THE NEW ME!!!! Don't get me wrong, I loved myself before but I love the fact that I'm going to live because I'm healthy!!!!
  7. It's slow because of me. Granted, if we eat right, we'll lose regardless. Exercise will increase the weight loss. I need to exercise more. I've been very inconsistent with exercising.

  14. So sorry you're going through this. Have you though about having a chat with the psychiatrist that you met with, pre-op?
  15. I am a tummy sleeper as well and I think I was back to tummy sleeping right away. I did use my Percocet and Tylenol for a few days but I probably could've gotten away with only using the Tylenol....8)
  16. I didn't see the list....but based on the responses....you guys are a hoot!!!! YOU ARE ALL GOING TO DO GREAT!!!!
  17. Okay everyone....if your stay in the hospital is as quick as mine was (surgery on Wednesday eve/home Thursday afternoon), which I'm sure it will be ....this is what you'll need: comfy clothes (I wore sweats with an elastic waist), slippers and robe, comfy pillow (if you choose....I didn't), toothbrush and paste, Chapstick, electronics and chargers. I didn't have time for anything else as my stay was VERY short! I didn't even walk, except to go to the potty. I had NO incision pain but tons of gas pain. I didn't use Gas-X til I got home but it didn't work. I had CRAZY nausea. The night of surgery, I was able to sleep on my side and have been sleeping normal since!
  18. A friend gave me a caramel latte protein powder. I mix 1/2 scoop, chocolate pb2 and 1 1/2 cups of skim milk....YUM!!!
  19. Lioness, this is YOUR time! There's no way in the world that you can continue to give your all to everyone else in your life and continue to deny yourself. YOU'VE GOT TO DO THIS FOR YOU!!! No better time than the present! Shucks, it won't take six months for you too look back...I'm one month out and look at the changes and hear the comments from folks and I absolutely, undoubtedly know that this was one of the best decisions EVER!!!!!
  20. Mustang, I was told no caffeine for 6-8 weeks....so I'm thinking if there's no caffeine, have at it!
