  2. 5 weeks out started mushy foods yesterday! Could only get one boiled egg down. But it tasted awesome. I had surgery on May 5 th. At that time I was 280lbs. Three days later I was 298 due to fluids given in hosp. For three days. Today I am happy to say I am 257.1. I still tired but getting more energy each day. I have come off my insulin and no longer usey CPap machine. Only real complaint is the smell of my breath NUT says it will get better the longer I am on solids. It's going to be a long journey but well worth it.
  3. Hi there, I too was done on May 5th but just fining your post now. For me surgery was uneventful, and I am still on a full Fluid diet. Hard to get in all my Protein and Water but it is getting better everyday. How are you making out!

  8. I too am a carb junkie, I guess that is what got me to this point. I have cut back a lot and no longer crave it as much... same with the diet soda.. my liquid diet starts this Sunday. I had tried it a few months ago for two weeks and it was pretty easy. Cheers to a successful surgery for us all.
  9. Dec. 16th for me, new to this site, but like the good information everyone is sharing. Super nervous and excited all at the same time. Good luck everyone and will be looking to here from you as we start our journey...
