  10. Morning Followers! I went Googling this morning and here are my findings: 1. Smart & Final - Sorry, there are NO S&F here in Colorado. I also checked online and they do not show Torani products. 2. Wal-Mart - They carry Torani in varieous sizes, quantities, and prices. 3. Sam's Club - Carries them as well, only in stores so it will not show individual or pack prices. 4. Kroger - Their web page says "No Results', so I can't tell if they do or don't. Well sleeve family, I'll start looking up some recipes for us and list them one at a time. Please share yours as well. THANKS!! [Ps. please visit my page an see my new "BEFORE" photo. My journey has just begun.]
  11. Morning! That's where I purchased mine as well. Let me know if you come up with some new recipes and I'll do the same. Keep in touch!
  12. Hello Sleevers: I have read many posts about Torani sugar free syrups so I decided to try them. They are delicious!! They're a great alternative to regular sugar. Anyway, I reached out to Torani and requested some recipes. I was amazed and happily surprised they replied so fast! Here's a link they provided, of recipes we "sugar free" Sleevers can try. http://www.torani.com/#/recipes Enjoy!!
  13. Ps) Here's my first 'support group' share. I contacted Torani and asked for recipes and they replied and shared their link to sugar free recipes using their products: http://www.torani.com/#/recipes Have you/are you using any of these sugar free syrups to give taste to bland protein shakes or yogurt? If so, what's your recipe? I tried it for the first time today. I made hot cereal and added the raspberry syrup and it was delicious! A great alternative to real sugar.
  14. Hello Ladies, soooo glad to have found you Denver gals! YES, YES, YES please add me, I'd love some sleever friends that understand the before, during, and afters about our journeys. I live wayyyy out here by DIA (airport), I'm willing to meet up anywhere. My surgery is April 15th @ 7:30 am with Dr. Chae; got my paperwork done, nutrition classes, pre-op physical, and now waiting and ready with excitement! I'll tell y'all more about me later as we get to know each other. I'm also still contemplating the "before" picture....ugh.
  15. Hello everyone, I'm an April sleever too, on tax day- the 15th. This site has really helped me stay motivated, so continue to read success stories and know that you'll be posting one soon. So far I've kept myself busy and staying out of the 'anxiety zone' with measuring my body, weighing myself, getting hospital list together, and my diet pre/post liquids in order. I've even outlined my feet and hands so I can see if they'll shrink too, lol!! Next, I'm rummaging through my closet with plans to sell my big clothes so I can buy a few smaller sizes soon. I also want to find some recipes so I can stay on track. What are you doing to stay motivated?
  16. Thank you for this TOPIC, I've been comtemplating as well. When I went to a support group, I mentioned that I felt bad about telling a lie and she replied with great advice, "There are two kinds of lies; one that will hurt people and one that doesn't hurt people. The one you're telling is okay because its a nice way of keeping them out of your business". That made me feel better. It's still a challenge as I work with more men than ladies, and they're not so nice. However, as some of you have mentioned, I may be comfortable later to tell my story.
  17. Sharing your excitement, WOOHOO!! My surgery is in 14 days!
  18. Morning Sleeve Friends: I've heard that as well! Since I just started my pre-op liquid diet yesterday, I'm going to trace my feet on white copy paper and compare at a later time. I'm a WIDE size 7 and have worn steel toe shoes for work over 20 years, I HOPE my feet become narrow so I can finally fit into some summer open toe shoes. EXCITED!! Oh, I also think I'll take a picture so I can share.
  19. I agree, I hope more post B/A pictures because its definitley motivating me to stay on track; right now I'm doing the 2 week liquid diet. My surgery date is April 15.... EXCITED!!
  20. Hello: I just found a pack of SIX sugar free flavors on Amazon for $39.99. I'm new on here, can someone provide me some recipes to try? My surgery date is April 15th, woohoo!! Also, how do I know someone has responded to this post? Thanks!
  21. Thanks for posting blog and video! I haven't been sleeved yet, but so looking foward to it and your posts help. Keep up the good work!
  22. Accept your awesomeness!! Woohoo!! You're an inspiration to me, please take more pics as you go along! I don't have a surgery date yet and keep dreaming every night of how I'd like to look and feel. You're pictures just boosted my confidence and helps me get ready for my life change soon. Smile BIG!!
