  1. My husband says it's an abomination against man that I've gone from DD to a D. It cracks me up when he says that. Lol
  2. Coral nail polish looka great with teal!!
  3. I was a 6 ring size before surgery. Now im a 4.5 and days like today it still spins. My hands are tiny and I am petite but you'd be surprised how small they can get. Luckily, my jeweler does sizing for free since the set was bought from them.
  4. That is exactly me too! Except my program has me eat 3 meals a day and 2 snacks. I do hit about 1000 calories a day and am scared to increase food because I have about 10 lbs I want to lose. I may try increasing my fiber and see if that helps. I may try an extra 100 calories and monitor for a week or 2. I track religiously still which is good. I drink a protein shake for breakfast because I hate breakfast and thought maybe if I eat 'real food' for that meal it will help? I did step it up at the gym today. Change it up and confuse these last 10lbs. Lol
  5. My hunger started back. Not too bad yet as I try and eat small meals several times a day. But I still notice it. Anyone else experiencing hunger now that we're almost a year out?
  6. I think we must be built alike! You are petite too right? I'm only 5'2". I am ok with my arms tho. It is my stomach that is ssd, sad, sad. I will likely hsve to wait but I'd love to do it this year.
  7. I want to lose 10 more lbs but think it might be hard. I want a tummy tuck as I have serious skin issues on my tummy but im in a size 8 or 6 and feel great!!
  8. Wow!! Great job!!! I've officially lost a me. I've lost 136 lbs and I weigh 135 now.
  9. Yay!! That is fantastic! Great job!! Mine is june 12th. I can't wait. I do labs next week.
  10. Thanks!! I can't believe the difference a year makes. It will happen for you!
  11. I'll be 1 year out on June 12th. I was a slow and steady loser and am now 11 lbs to my goal. I wear size 6 and feel fantastic!!!
  12. Mel you are inspiring me! I may have to try a 5k soon.
  13. Bypass isn't just for super morbidly obese. I was 220 when I had it on june 2013, and am now 135. I am healthy without any of my co-morbitities and feel like a teenager. I have dumped 3 times in the last 11 months but never severely. Don't let fear of dumping scare you. Some people don't dump. I had reflux and now it is gone. Consider all your choices and use your medical profesdionals for the best advice for you. Good luck!!
  14. Terry , I have the fit and flare sleeveless dresses too. I bouggt one in xs (2-4) and one in small (4-6) and both worked! I love landsend petite dresses because they are the perfect length for me (5'2").
  15. You shaved 12 minutes?? Wow that is incredible!!! What an accomplishment to be proud of!
  16. Try landsend too. They have cute wrap dresses that I love.
  17. Oh and I forgot to say. We hired a private guide in Rome and zhe didn't believe I used to be fat! She told us Americans typically complain about the walking and we didn't. When I told her I used to be 140 lbs heavier she didn't believe me. She said she would believe 1 to 2 kg overweight but not 80 or whatever the conversion is. I guess this old girl is holding up!
  18. Hi Junies!! I have been on vacation for the last couple of weeks. We went to Italy and Greece. It was wobderful!! Did a ton of walking. Didn't get my protein in most days bit im back at it today. I didn't wright this morning because flights cause me to retain water so im wairing until wednesday my normal weigh day. My clothes feel loose so I'm hoping to be under 135 which would make me normal weight.
  19. You should call your dr. While nausea is pretty common after rny, always feeling sick isnt. Better to be safe and run it by your dr.
  20. Good for you!! I live in florida and have never kayaked. Go figure! My husband can't swim and is scared of the water where I am a total water person. I never do water sports with him because of his fears.
  21. Wayne, I suffer from gout too. I am almost a year out and have had several bad episodes. I take Allopurinol twice a day but still get flairs. I am not allowed to take Indocin but I am able to take colchicine (even tho it gives me diarrhea- tmi). Ask your dr about colchicine because it isn't an NSAID and shouldn't be on your restriction list. I would suggest not taking it on an empty stomach tho. My dr is a Mayo Clinic physician and they are extremely conservative. Also, make sure you are drinking your water! I have been able to figure out ny pattern on gout. It is almost always a direct result of too many days of just barely getting 64 ounces or stress. Try and get 80 or 90 ounces of Water because it does help. Finally, I did have one really bad attack right before my mom passed away (I was under a ton of stress). It was in both feet even up in my ankles. The colchicine didn't touch it and I had no relief for 5 days. My dr prescribed steroids and it went away a day later. That is an option in extreme cases. I was taking leftover pain medication and it didn't even touch the pain. Sorry you are dealing with gout. It is by far the worst pain I have ever experienced. PM me if you need any more ideas.
  22. Wow!! I think you look great! I am a size 8 now but my tummy still looks big to me. I am going to have to do plastics on the tummy I'm afraiid. You don't look like you need any. I'm so happy for you!!
  23. Bingo! I weigh once a week, on Wednesday and have and only one week where I didn't drop something. Yes, I count 1/2 lb as loss but apparently if it isnt more than 20 a week it's a stall. Lol
