  1. I took 2 weeks off - I had a very easy recovery with basically no pain and only a little nausea for the first few days but no vomiting. I do have more of a desk job though since I am a director of nursing research and practice. I felt as if I could have gone back after a week but had to wait for clearance from my surgeon.
  2. I asked prior to surgery and my surgeon told me he uses a 40 French. I have had no issues at all.
  3. I bought the tiny utensils that are known as tasting spoons and forks from Amazon. They force you to take smaller bites because they only hold a small amount.
  4. I have been using Bariatric Advantage vitamins - my doc said to use chewable for the first 8 weeks then I can start the capsules. I can't wait to start capsules since I really don't like the taste of the chewables that much - 1 more week to go.
  5. I had my sleeve done on Jan. 7, so I'm about 6 weeks post-op. Have been doing pretty good with getting protein in, my calories have been between 700 and 800, and I have been exercising, but I am having trouble with getting in all my Water. My weight loss has slowed the last 3 weeks and I was worried -- but I figure if I keep doing everything right (I'm continuing to work on the water - 40 oz. so far today), the weight will eventually have to come off.
  6. Just want to say Hi to see if anyone from Maryland is still checking this forum. I am from Baltimore and would love to touch base with anyone in the Maryland area. Waiting for surgery date.
