What type of work did you do and where are you geographically?

I bought organic powdered vitamins at GNC. The rep knew what I was doing and seemed to know what he was doing. Plus I went with a co worker who had the same procedure done 4 yrs ago and has been going to GNC ever since.

I start the liquid pre-op diet tomorrow. A little ticked that my doctors office would not ok a small amount of food on Thanksgiving, since I've seen on here that many doctors did ok it. But I bought my protein meal replacements and vitamins today and had a practice run. I had that dern powder all over me. It was on my pants, keyboard, papers. I'm like no no no this won't work gotta do it at home lol!!!! God bless us everyone!

It's all ok. Mine is the 10th Dec. I will keep yas posted.

I sent a message to my doctor tonight about having just a little on Thanksgiving cause I gave to start Tuesday.

I started on May 25 and my surgery is scheduled for Dec. 10. It was frustrating waiting so long because I kept having to have tests postponed because of my work commitments. And tests tests tests sheesh. A coworker had this done and didn't have half the stuff I've had to have done. But finally almost here. So hang in there and don't let the delays make you nervous.

So your doc authorized that?

How many days was everyone in the hospital??

Yikes I don't know. I have mine on Dec 10th. I think they told us in class that unless it is oozing stuff that's it's ok. But it would not hurt just the call the doctors office and ask that's why they're there. Keep us posted.

I start mine next week. You can do it! I have the same fear. I am single and live alone with my dog. He loves to eat lol! My family is nearby but not available to be there every minute and help me plan and prepare what I'm eating. So I share your fear. But you CAN do it! Cause I'm gonna do it. Like someone else said you've some too far to stop. I just signed up here tonight cause I am going to need support too, and I think all of us sticking together will be the key. So keep posting and hang in there. I'm not scared about the surgery (December 10) I'm just scared of being on my own to take care of myself. I shouldn't be. I'm 51 college grad been at my job 28 years manage 6 people and a portfolio of $18MM in receivables. But taking care of myself, yes it's scary! :-)
