  1. RickM thank you for that article, it's fantastic! That is the kind of information I was hoping to get from Dr, instead of a shoulder shrug! It really explains it well! THANK YOU ALL!
  2. I had my surgery June 6th and lost 14lbs the first week but since then NOTHING! I had a check up with my Dr. the other day and I told him I was concerned and he shrugged his shoulders and said "it'll pass" which was sooooo not helpful! Then he said to make an apt with the NUT and left! I can't get in with her until the 16th! I have no idea what to do, do I eat more? Do I eat less? I felt like I wasn't eating enough so I made an effort to up my calories and intake but still nothing! I got a FITBIT traker and it says I should be eating WAY MORE and I physically cannot. Then my husband is driving me nuts telling me to exercise and I'll feel better but according to my FITBIT I'm exercising too much for the small amount of food I'm eating! My FITBIT says I should be eating almost 2,000 calories and I'm barely at 1,000 and even that seems high based on what I've read on here from other people eating 600-800 calories! DO I SOUND STRESSED!!!! I feel like a failure and that I'm going to always be FAT! BTW I'm eating all the right things based on what my Dr gave me as an eating plan which also adds to my frustration because I feel like I'm following everything he said to do and not seeing any results! Thanks for any advice you may have~
  3. I'm so glad you posted this, I'm in the same boat and it stinks! I'm only 2 weeks out, I thought this was the honeymoon phase! I lost 14 my first week, plus my 6lbs pre-op for a total of 20lbs and then I stalled around day 8, then today I gained 2lbs!!!!!!!! I have no idea how, I am following all my Dr's instructions exactly, getting all my Protein, all my water and working out! I don't get it and it's very upsetting!
