I took my liquid pain med the day I came home and the next day. I vomited a lot and needed it after that. But I haven't needed any since very early yesterday morning. I've felt so tired and sluggish until I had some powerade zero. It's been my absolute life saver! Got out of the house today and have felt better. Hope you feel better soon!

Awesome! I'm starting full liquids on Saturday. I've found this powerade zero has been my life saver. Feel soooo much better since drinking that. Are you feeling tired?

Today I've had jello, popscicle and water! No vomiting, no temp so far. I've been up in shower and moving. Better day all way around!

Had low grade temp, vomited every time I tried anything, water or jello, but today I've actually kept jello down. No temp since abt 1 this morning.

I'm having problems with vomiting and pain. As soon as water or anything hit tongue, vomiting starts. Was like this all day yesterday. Hoping for better day today. Got in 30 ml jello this morning. Almost time to start water again. Determined to try

Ok my first day had some pain and vomiting. Yesterday was feeling great, eating so was discharged. Vomited every time I put ANYTHING in my mouth all night. Trying again today. Any suggestions?

You can put your cell in ur pants pocket inside ur belonging bag. They will keep ur items safe until moving to your new room. My lotion has been my friend. I was sooo dry from not eating or drinking, yes had I've fluids but not the same. My first day was a little rough. Good luck!

Surgery was this morning. Just made my seventh lap in hallway! All in all wasn't terrible. Had some nausea and took nurse a while to get my med to me so a lot of dry heaving but other than that just tired!

Will be signing in at hospital in less than 12 hrs! Am surprisingly calm. Ready for this new chapter in my life!

I haven't had the gas pain but I've had patients who have. That's the part I'm dreading. I've already packed my gas x strips. Def take some of those. They are the bomb!! Lol. I'm now choking down mag citrate. YUCK. But I added sf fruit punch water flavor packet to cherry med and is ALMOST tolerable.

I have broth, jello, sf Popsicles, and sprite. Also got sf powerade. Wishing I'd bought tortilla soup broth.... I'm still on for 0830. I am feeling some melatonin early tonight so I can sleep. I'm starting to be hungry too but I think it's cause there's a food commercial on every 5 seconds lol

Ugh! And the very expensive med is in a cheap bottle!! Had in my bag and some leaked out!! Deep cleansing breath.....

Trust me no one will be bothered by this. I work L&D so I used to this but my surgery friends call us at times for pads and things. It's all business to them.
