I am a 37 year old overeater. I am sleeved now 4 nine days & i feel great! I lost 9lbs since & im not having knee pain! Healing is a trip tho. Lol. U can't i say u can't bite more than a dime size at all. Im taking my time relearning to eat. My instinct wants to stuff my face but my body will not allow it. So now I'm not wasting my time eating, so i have to find things to do that fill that "food space". So I'm just do anxious &looking at new styles of clothes. I'm saving $25 a week for my new wardrobe...

Hello i am newbie. I'm 8 days post OP. The 1st nite was truly hell, dealing with gas& heartburn. I didn't have a lot of incision pain, i was nauseated & dizzy from anesthesia. After that its just been trial & error. Iv Learned , to only bite a dime size amount. Chew to oblivion... Lol. I am down 8lbs post op on 3/10/14. My ankles are not swollen, my rings are to big for my fingers now. My work jacket is no longer to tight. I feel Good just wish i could keep my energy levels up all day.

Hello on 3/5/14 I had my pre surgery screening. My surgery is Monday 3/10/14. 7am. The screening consisted of the hospital thoroughly explaining the procedure over & . Over. Which is . A good thing. I spoke with the Anestesiologist, the surgeon& the missing team. I had as walk through,I got8 vials of blood taken. I was given a special soap to clean my stomach area with. I had a chest x Ray. Now all I do is show up Monday at 5am. My surgery is 715am. I'm nervous. I . Lost 8lbs on . Pre op. diet. im doing this for me. I need this tool. I was told by a nurse who had it to follow every thing perfectly for the 1st 6mos. She said that is when u Lose the most weight. She also had it done 6 yrs ago. I see the sleeve is the most secure as I was told many times over by numerous ppl.

Seeing my sister buried n a coffin that resemble a piano case. I had never seen something so mystifying sad & disturbing. Not being able to properly clean myself is another issue,I can't keep up with the kids. Im aching all the time. They is never gonna be a reasonable time to get your self together. So im balling out of this 400lb prison by any means. I read to live.

The straw tha that did it for me was seeing my sister in her coffin at 40 yrs old. Her coffin was the size of a Piano case which made it so hard to see. Not being able to clean myself thoroughly, & aching joints, o have teenagers & I want teenagers my to have fun with me. I wanna travel & not . Post for 2 seats. I wanna remarry, & date. I wanna live not be ok n a 400lb prison.

My SD is 3/10/201... Im just starting my pre op diet. any advice on how to get past cravings?
