Congrats to u!! Thank God ur well n pain is managed. Question plz, if its hard to drink afterwards, how did u manage the swallow test? Is it alot to drink, do u have to drink it in a certain amt of time? Just curious. Thx. . Grats again! . I had to take 3 sips... The first wasn't that bad, but the 2nd and 3rd was terrible lol -

I had surgery on the 11th. I feel like I'm getting no liquids at all. I know it'll get better with time. Time just needs to come faster lol. . Oh give it time. It will be very hard for the first week-2 weeks. Hang in there! -

not regretting it, but it has been tough for me to eat and drink liquids. When did you have surgery? It gets better each day I promise. The first week I was getting in maybe 20oz of water and now I'm up to the 64oz. I just have a water in my hand at all times lol -

. Surgery on 12/2 and I haven't gone to the gym but I've gone to the local mall to walk that way. I plan to go to the gym this week though. Finally feeling much better since my drain tube was removed. -

. I did bring a robe but never put it on because it's hot, and you have an IV so you can't really just put it on when you go walking. They do let you shower and they provided all items needed (low quality) but tooth brush, comb, shampoo, toothpaste, shower gel. I did bring slippers to walk around in because I can't stand the socks. Oh and they will give you more blankets if needed. -

I had surgery 12/2 and am having a hard time with the vitamins as well. I'm taking flinstone chewable's as well so I can relate. They are nasty!

Where did you go? . I'm in Huntington, West Virginia so I went with Dr. Nease at cabell huntington hospital. He has great reviews with everyone in the community and people drive a few hours away to come to him. -

I had my surgery on 12/2. I'm feeling great other than this drain tube. I get it removed Tuesday morning, can't wait! Still struggling to get the water and protein in, but not stressing over it yet. -

I paid $20,000 and could have gone with a cheaper option (a few grand), but wanted to go with the best doctor. Had mine on 12/2 and glad I went with the better doc. Glad you had yours done and are happy with the choice! -
I'm so glad I'm not alone. I'm really having a hard time getting 64oz in and decided to make that my primary focus for now. I'm no where near my protein requirements.
