  1. I have BC/BS of GA Federal PPO. I had a BMI of 35. I had to get a letter of neccessity from my doctor stating my comorbidities and that she felt Lapband Bariatric surgery was by best option. I also had to write a letter detailing my various attempts at weight loss along with starting/ending weights. I have asthma, arthritus, sleep apnea, and lymphadema. After sending all information in, I got approval to do the surgery(took 2 weeks). There is hope.
  2. I was banded July 13, 2007 (LUCKY FRIDAY THE 13TH). I lossed 14 lbs prior to surgery. It has been almost 3 weeks and I have lossed an additional 21 lbs. I am need to lose another 30-35 lbs to be satisfied but want to possibly lose another 45. My wife wants me to lose another 20 however I been the big guy for a long time and now i want to be small. IMy procedure was done in Atlanta, GA by Dr. Edward Linn at Emory University. I have been completely satisfied. I can say at this time this is one of the best decisions I have ever made. :whoo:
  3. Hello to all, :help:I am new to this forum and I am curious if anyone else has had this problem. I take vitams, watch what I take in, and try to get 6-8 hours of sleep a night but I am still tired. I can't make it passed 2pm without nodding. What can i do? How do you guys get all of the info(BMI,weight loss) on your post?
  4. I could eat eggs immediately after liquid diet. You do not want to drink beer. The carbonate will strectch your pouch and create pain. I love beer and it hasn't been too hard to give it up. NO SODA's, Beer, or other carbonated drinks.
  5. It will go away after you get your fluids up. Drink more
