  1. Thank you so much! Glad you enjoy it! And I agree. I ADORE looking at peoples before and after pics. That's what seems to motivate me, so I figure I'll share mine as well!
  2. Thanks everyone! It's so weird... People will tell you how different you look, but I always see the same person. I've lost 87 lbs, but still feel as big as I did 87 lbs ago. Ugh... Fat girl mentality. Lol
  3. Terry, I have felt absolutely fine since I got my gall bladder out yesterday. Truth be told, I could have gone back to work today ( I have a very easy desk job). In my opinion, this is not even a quarter of what the GBP surgery was. I haven't even needed more than Tylenol for gas pain. The incisions don't hurt one bit. You'll be completely fine after 4-5 days.
  4. I have UPMC... It took me like 2 days.. It was so quick. I expected a long time.
  5. Just want to say hi Junies!!! Hope you all are doing well! Don't worry! We will get back to where we were once everyone figures out the new app.
  6. It's wanted to share a quick pic with ya'll! I LOVE seeing other peoples pictures, so please feel free to post yours as well!
  7. Thanks! I'm going to try and do another post lawyer today about my gall bladder removal yesterday.
  8. Hi Junies! Miss you all! Just have some not-so-fun news to share... So goes the saga of what gastric bypass does to the body and on Monday I have to go in to get my gallbladder removed. I have a lot of stones, have been very sick, and in a lot of pain... I'm really down. My fiancé and I always go up to his family's place for thanksgiving and the week after, but now I won't be able to join him due to not having enough pto. This will be my 3rd abdominal surgery this year. I'm just really sad... Sorry to be a Debbie downer. I feel like it's always 3 steps forward and 5 back...
  9. The same thing happened to me and I was devastated... Until I went in for my post op from gastric bypass about 12 weeks after I had my band removed (8 weeks in between band and bypass then post op was a few after that). My surgeon said in 8 short weeks, my stomach had transformed from a paper thin, unhealthy looking, pinched up, scarred organ to a normal looking stomach. She said even just a few weeks makes all the difference in the world when it comes to healing the stomach. In the end, I was SO glad my surgeon made the decision she did because I had NO complications and healed very well! I could have had many complications had she gone ahead and did it all in one day.
  10. This new app stinks... I'm not a fan... I miss rny talk.
  11. I agree with soccermomma... Start a new November thread. In the mean time, feel free to post questions/concerns on this thread and those of us who are a little further along are more than willing to be of any support we can! <3
  12. The forum isn't working for me. Every time I go to look at the most recent post, it says the page doesn't exist... This kinda stinks...
  13. Don't know about the rest of you guys, but I think this change in the forum sucks.
  14. What on gods green earth has happened to this forum?!? It wouldn't let me log in with my old name so I had to create a totally new one. So annoying.
