  1. Hey Tiki, I was the same, I told my work collegues and close friends I needed to have a hernia repair done. When I finally told them of the VSG I was overwhelmed with the support I got. I have some friends who are into gym 24/7 and my fear was that they would judge me as lazy etc. I have yo-yoed diet for years. Bordering on type 2 diabetes is what stopped the diets and made me go for this. I had surgery 5 days ago. I have not regretted it. I even told my partner to not say anything so he was quite shocked when I just blurted out that I was having the surgery to family and friends. In your own time you will feel comfortable to tell a friend...........
