  1. Only had mild pain post op 11-21 & thought everything was fine. For the last week though I've had left-middle sided pain when I sneeze or roll over in bed the wrong way. Any thoughts?
  2. I cant wait to see my oldest child's father. He described me once as fat. I wasnt even that fat back then. So to hell with him. I cant wait to priss in front of him knowing I would never stoop that low again!!! Eat your heart out ! )
  3. lol maybe..... just lookin for some real people who arent judgmental know-it-alls who put unsolicited dictionary definitions on the BEGINNER forums. And oh yeah, Im 38 yrs. old, not 12. Ive always been a rebel. #ranting#raving#reallynotabitch
  4. I would say people who havent already lost 100 lbs. yet. lol
  5. lol you must work with the same messy ass women I do!!! lol
  6. If I knew how to delete the title, I would!!! I was curious if other sleevers had done the same thing I did. Since this is "basics for beginner sleeves post-op". #beginners #sleeves
  7. No offense to most veterans on here, but sometimes we newbies would like to converse amongst ourselves. Which is primarily why I go to the forums marked BEGINNERS. Most people on this site are very helpful but some are just plain ol assholes. lol
  8. The original post I made about "cheating" was making reference to skipping the post-op liquid phase & moving up to soft foods.
  9. I'm from Ellisville, MS in Jones county.
  10. I bought all my gummy vitamins from Wal-Mart & they are all good. Not sure what all you are required to take but I take a multivitamin, calcium, omega 3, coQ10, biotin rapid dissolve & B12 rapid dissolve.
  11. how do I delete this thread? I feel like Im in elementary school & Im standing in the corner.
  12. I'm so sorry u r going through all this! Will be praying for u. On a lighter note, if it makes u feel any better my husband is an asshole too! lol Thankfully I havent had complications, BUT if I had I KNOW, he would say "its your fault" too. (I know him too well). Dont give up.
  13. Not cheating.....did any of you "skip" stages in your post-op phase? I ate soft foods before I was advised to. YES, it's wrong. I already know that. Was just wondering about you other guys.
  14. Sleeved on November 21st. Down about 12 lbs. total pre-op weight. My digital scale fluctuates, so Im thinking about buying an old-fashioned one?? Not too much weight-loss but I know it's gonna happen because I eat about 10% or less of what I used to. Im supposed to be on full-liquids right now, but I've been eating whatever, just chewing well & very small amounts.
  15. The only real help I needed was bending down to get my laundry out of the machine & carrying anything heavy. Which, honestly, BOTH could've waited until my incision sights felt better. But my husband mopped & that was amazing because he NEVER does stuff like that!!! lol I enjoyed it
  16. I almost hate to post this! I have been a migraine sufferer for years. But.........*knock on wood* I have only had one small one, while still in the hospital, since my sleeve. It feels almost surreal to go over a week without one! Could this be related to NOT being addicted to Diet Coke any more??
  17. Im one week out today & cooked Thanksgiving dinner. I started yesterday on some things that could be done. I try not to bend over too much (getting pots & pans out of cabinets), so I definitely ask for help. But I feel good!
  18. For those I dont want to know about my surgery, Im probably goin to say somethin like "Im just not feeling too hungry right now".
  19. Im actually surprised I have NO heartburn compared to before I had to take Prilosec daily.
