  2. I look at total carbs...not just sugars. 7 grams of sugsr for me is too much for my personal preference. Yogurts now days are such a joke. Carbs are 9
  3. I just looked the majority of these only have 7 sugar grams.
  4. These are awesome I had the banana cream for lunch today 80 calories 9 carbs and 12 grams of protien.
  5. I was terrified as well cried for hours the night before just because of the fear of the unknown the recovery was much much easier than I expected, not easy but not as bad as I had feared. Biggest thing you can do is walk as soon as you can. You will be fine! I started surgery day at 308 I'm at 281 today. I was just moved to soft foods and eating is definitely tough I can handle yogurt and sugar free pudding fairly easy but foods with more consistency are tough I can only handle 6-7 bites and I am stuffed. Just follow the instructions and you will be fine.
  6. Absolutely I'm down 27 pounds since surgery date the restriction is awesome it's just what I needed. I have a complication free recovery so far and doe that I'm so thankful.

  9. Awesome job!! Just think where we are going to be this time next year!!! Hotties!!! Can't wait!! How are you doing?I'm feeling really good almost back to normal however the scale on the other hand is not good I'm assuming it's the dreaded 3 week stall all the vets talk about I've only shown a 2 oz loss in the last 3 days. I know it will pass but it's so frustrating.
  10. Awesome job!! Just think where we are going to be this time next year!!! Hotties!!!
  11. Could you all explain the stitch popping? I have never heard of this, my surgeon nevertheless mentioned it and I was curious what it means...what it feels like, when it happens, watch...so I don't freak out if it happens and send myself to the ER. The stitch on the left side is a deep tethered muscle stitch my understanding is this is done to hep prevent hernias. I definitely did not hurt wen it happened actually is was almost instant relief on my left side. It's really difficult to explain how it felt but I definitely felt it pop free, my best description would be like popping you knuckles on your fingers. It startled me but did not hurt in any way. Search it on this site there are lots of post on it.
  12. When did it pop free? Last Thursday.
  13. Very common mine lasted about 2 1/2 weeks actually got a little worse before the deep left side stitch popped. Hang in there it will be over soon!
  14. HW 323 SW 308 CW 283 Surgery date 12/17/13 Down 25 pounds in just under 3 weeks. Today is my last day of full liquids, praise The Lord!!!
  15. I'm sorry you're having a setback! I was overly cautious and still won't bend over or lift anything! (lucky I have an amazing husband). Do you have any pain meds or taking any Tylenol? I had horrible pain there that only stopped yesterday, and my surgery was the 13th. I'm sorry I don't have any words of wisdom for you but I hope you recover quickly and hopefully have something for pain. I have some pain meds and they dull the pain but don't even come close to resolving it. I am 31And even at 320 pounds was relatively active. I live alone in a three story town home and I've had to resort to calling my mom to come over and do things for me. She is very willing and loves to help but I feel like a invalid and am so frustrated. I can't do laundry, load the dishwasher, pick up things from the floor, and it takes me almost 5 minutes to put in socks because of the bending. I'm just sad and frustrated. Hey I was wondering how you were doing. I felt the same was a couple days before my stitch popped. Hopefully your stitch is preparing to pop and that's why you are feeling so bad. I felt immediate relief when that thing broke loose. How are you doing on pounds lost??
