  1. Band out now. Not really much pain, just nausea. Hopefully discharged in an hour or so
  2. I hope the pain goes away quickly for you. I got mine out 12hrs ago. Still in hospital, hopefully out in a few hours. Pain from the gas they pump in, and quite a bit of nausea, other than that I feel fine. 8 week wait now for my sleeve.
  3. Ok, so tomorrow is the day I get my band out. I have had it for 8yrs with success the first year then nothing but troubles since. I will then have 8weeks of trying not to over indulge before my surgeon does my sleeve. So nervous but excited for the coming months. Good luck for everyone having surgery tomorrow
  4. Hi JewelJ My surgeon won't remove the band and do the sleeve during the same surgery, he has a strict 8 week recovery rule. In a way I'm pleased he does this, ensures everything is healed before he goes back in, but I'm scared stiff ill scoff my face and gain heaps. I'm ok with the two week liquid diet prior, as many of us Bandits can't eat now anyway. Would love to share the journey with you
  5. Hi I have mine out on the 15 November and sleeve done on the 16 January. I know the temptation will be there for us both, but hopefully we can stay strong and resist.
  6. I'm on the 17 January at Glengarry with Dr Dolan. Can't wait to hear all about your journeys xx
  7. So, I've got my surgery date, 16 January, but remembered its 7wks before we go to bali. Any tips or can you please share what life was like for you post op at 7wks. I'm worried I won't be able to drink enough in the tropical climate. Thanks
