  1. The pre op diet was 7 days for me.. The first 5 days were to eat nothing but protein and veggies and then the last 2 days were straight liquid and then drink the stuff to clean you out. And I had my surgery and for 3 days After surgery I was still on liquids and the 4th day out I got to have mashed potatoes! And I have a diet to follow for eight weeks to get my tummy back to regular food! After surgery make sure you walk! Recovery was a breeze for me I went back to work quick. I had my surgery on a Monday and went back to work that Saturday. I just couldn't lift anything over 10lbs. I went in weighing 275 and 7 weeks out I'm down 35 pounds. It gets easier eating. But still only can have like 5 bites depending on what I'm eating! Listen to your body for sure, if you ignore it you'll be sick trust me haha.
  2. I've had the same problem craving soda. But I have found that powerade zero is amazing, kinda switches things up a little from water.
  3. Looking for someone to go through this journey with who understands exactly what I'm going through! Surgery date was august 26th I'm now 7 weeks out and 35lbs down! Goal weight is 175.
  4. Would love to chat with some people who have gone through the sugery! Surgery date was august 26 and I'm now 7 weeks out and down 35 pounds! Goal weight is 175!
  5. Hi all! I had my gastric sleeve done on August 26th to be exact! I'm having a really hard time getting protein down. I take my vitamins and stuff like I'm suppose to but, getting that protein down is not working for me. Lord knows I do not want to lose my hair but if some of you guys could give me some tips that would be awesome.
