  1. Good Luck! I was sleeved in Boston on 11/6. The pain wasn't nearly as bad as I thought and I haven't been sick once. I'm one week post op and looking forward to the mushy/soft food stage in one week. My energy is pretty good but not 100%. FYI, TMI...start drinking fiber and stool softeners as soon as your out of the hospital. You'll appreciate it when nature eventually calls.
  2. Thanks. Everything worked itself out last night, thanks to a barrage of Metamucil, Miralax, and Colace.
  3. Try mybariatricpantry.com and bariatric choice. They both offer samples
  4. I'm one week post op today and am hungry. The Protein shakes help but I'd love some eggs or tuna/chicken salad. I know my stomach is still healing and won't tolerate it but I can feel my hunger coming back. I have unjury chicken Soup powder to help satisfy savory cravings. Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks
  5. Hi, I was sleeved Wednesday (11/6) morning and haven't had a movement since. I think I might feel one in the works, possibly. What has been others experience? Thanks
  6. Thanks Cubbie.
  7. Anyone having surgery in Boston at the Brigham?
  8. Hey everyone. I'm glad I found this app/site. I'm optimistically freakin' nervous. I love food! Don't we all? Hoping that I will be up to soft foods come Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, a Thanksgiving dinner would be my death row meal if I'm ever there (I hope not!). We'll get through the pre-op together. Look up OneLifetoSleeve on YouTube. I don't know this guy but he's been helpful and inspiring with his video blog. Take care!
  9. Since we are talking about penises, I'm nervous if/when I need to have a catheter put in because my guy is surrounded by fat. He's a grower, not a shower. I'm sure the nurses are professional but that's a big self conscious thing I have. Do they put a catheter in at all?
  10. Great question! My date is 11/6 and I've been thinking the same.
