  1. I'm 2weeks on Friday, and I have horrible sharp pain like under my ribs on the left side. Very hard to take deep breaths. It sucks. Hope it goes away soon.
  2. Why are docs against protein shakes??? We are made to live off them after surgery.
  3. You get to have soup?? You're so lucky!! I'm jealous!!
  4. T-ray. I totally understand. I'm on day 7 post op and I want food so badly. But I keep telling myself that if I am being true to my liquid intake then anything else is my mind trying to ruin my progress. Stay strong!! You will be proud of your self control!! We will get through this hideous liquid phase!!
  5. Welcome!! I was banded on the 11th. Liquid diet really does sick but when you eat anything your stomach has to spasm to work to digest. This can cause slippage from what I've read. Be strong. This is a time of trial, but trials produce blessings. Persevere through the trial and get your blessing!!
  6. We need spiritual motivation to step in where physical determination falls short. Define your week by obedience, not by the number on the scale.
  7. I surly hope the stomach grumbling is normal bc mine won't stop.
  8. ChicagoRose This book is amazing!! It makes you view weight loss from a spiritual view.
  9. I just has my surgery on 10/11. I am in the liquid diet phase. I am struggling with hunger pain. But one thing that is helping me stay motivated is an awesome book called Made To Crave. It's a 60 day devotional to craving God, not food.
