It's been a long four and a half year beat down fight with the hospital and finally got them to turn over my papers to insurance and was accepted for surgery!! My operation date is set for January 6th at 10:30 and am very psyched!!

For me this has been a long four and a half year journey to get where I am this close to getting the lap band surgery done. I just got a call on Friday saying that my psych eval got approved! I'm so excited! I'm not one to feel proud of myself often but this time I was smiling so much my cheeks hurt! I called every single one of my supporters and thanked them for all of their support and help in pushing me along. Told them all how much I appreciated them. All of my information is getting turned over to the insurance company and I got told I will know in December when my surgery date is! I don't think I could be more proud of myself for beating all the hang ups and let downs and re-steps the insurance company has made me redo over the years!
