Hey guys. I know I said i would take charge of birthday greetings, But that obviously hasnt happeneing. Things are wayyy to hectic for me right now, and Im not on the computer much. So if someone else would like to take over, please feel free :eek:

I am starving. OK, not starving, but sooo hungary. I am just 4 days post-op, so Im on full liquids, but I have been hungary since I was in the recovery room!! What is wrong with me? My stomach is growling, I feel hungar pains. This sucks. When I eat I get full very quickly, but it doesnt take long for the hungar to come back. What is wrong with me????

Im feeling pretty good. The port incision is a little sore, but that could be because I am over doing it. Im starving, and I would kill for a nice full chimichanga. But jell-o will have to do

ShelbiCallie- I just booked my room at Holiday Inn, woohoo!! My surgery will be at 9am on the 22nd!!!! We should deffinitly get together I seen the pics, they where cute! thanks for sharing them Lapdancer Im coming from Missouri. When are you flying in- the 21st? Justplainme --- Hi, it's great to meet you and so cool that I'll probably see you on the 22nd!! Marilyn has already told me that I'll be having surgery at Crown Point. I'm staying at the Holiday Inn across the way the night before so let's really do try to get together, even though we'll both probaby be NPO at that point. Maybe we can re-create the Lap Band Dancer pre-op thumbs up pose in a photo? (See page 44-- it always makes me feel better to look at that shot when I'm nervous about this whole deal!) This is so cool!!!! I'll be having surgery at the Crown Point also! Woohoo! I'm going to look into Holiday Inn also, do they have a medical rate? My MIL is coming with me. One of the only people that is supporting my decision to do this. My husband is even against it. But Iv'e made up my mind, Im doing it. Not sure what the lap band dance is ::::::going over to page 44:::::::::

Hi all ! Just wanted to share, I had my consultation with Dr. K this morning! He sounds wonderful! He answered all of my questions without hesitation, and completely made me feel at ease with my decision. The only thing I have been worried about was the fact that I am breastfeeding my 6 month old son. He told me there should be no problems at all, and that motrin should work just fine for my after surgery pain. I am so excited!! This seems so real now!! Im going to do some research and book my fight and hotel stays here in a bit. Any recommendation for hotels? I will have surgery in Parker

Buying a smaller outfit sounds like a fun idea!! I just might have to do that I would LOOOOVE to be in a size 12. Even a 14. Im in a 24 now. Wow can't believe I actually admitted that! lol

Thanks for the welcome Woofay. Ya'll are great Yes, I think I will be coming to denver for fills. They are $300-400 here. Just ridiculous in my opinion.

Hi Mal! No Im not local To bad, because a meet up sounds like alot of fun! Another ? for ya, do you choose or does Dr. k choose which place you will have surgery? I'd like to book my hotel stay based on which facility I will be at.

Hello everyone! I wanted to post a quick introduction, and say thank you to all that have been posting on this thread for the last several months. I have followed your journies, and through them I have decided to be banded with Dr. K !! I am super excited, yet nervous. As Im sure you can all relate. I have my consultation with Dr. k tomorrow at 11:30, and then my surgery is sheduled for August 22nd!!! wooohoooo!! I do have one question for you guys. How far is the hospital from the Dr's office? I hope to get to know everyone and congrats on all the bands!
