  8. im so glad you are feeling better! howre you doing now?
  9. my doc is performing my surgery of band removal lap, and then doing the actual RNY with a robot. for the FIRST time! my hands are sweating just saying it! HA! im just letting go of my fears though and accepting that God is in total control. if its my time- its my time. we will all be fine. this band has Got to Go. if you think about it- we have all HAD complications....thats why its getting removed. but we are still here. living and breathing and telling our stories. hang in there and God Bless you!
  10. i have not figured out the multi quote thing yet...sorry for all the responses! i just wanted to tell you that i did the liquid diet 5 years ago...and i never thought i could do it! but you will. and you really aren't hungry...it shows you the difference between what they call head hunger and real hunger. the protein shakes make you full...but you want to just eat everything in the house! LOL! you can do it! just post here when you think you cant.
  11. i feel for you with the sweating thing...im doing the same thing! its so gross! and my breathing...i feel like a porn star volunteering at my kids' school. LOL!
  12. its normal to feel nervous..most of us are- I'm learning! your life will still be the same...only better! you just wont eat as much.
  13. right around the corner! I will be thinking of you!!! Congrats!
  14. im not as afraid anymore. now that i am positive im doing this, ive just accepted it. ive started preparing meals for my family to freeze. i have a babysitter lined up, in case of complications. i have frozen about 3 gallons of various liquids from broth soups. ive bought protein powders, and ive given it to God. if it is my time- its my time. if not, its not. i am trying to prevent all of the health issues that have plagued my obese family members for as long as i can remember. diabetes and heart conditions have taken my family- one after the other. i honestly could care less how i end up looking. i think im attractive already! i told my husband i will have skin for days- but he better be prepared to live with it- cause i am NOT having another surgery unless i absolutely have to. LOL! im so grateful for this site! i dont feel so alone...especially as a bandster to bypass.
  15. thats what i keep telling myself. i think in my search to find all the possible complications- i have scared myself to death. but i didnt do that with the band and look where that got me. so i thought- be smart- see what can happen before you decide. well ive been smart alright- and now im terrified. one minute im going to do it- the next i am not. this site is def. helping.
  16. way easier said than done- but I am trying!!! my rate is higher because I am having a revision too. i also have anxiety on a Normal day! i take meds for that. thank you Jesus for Zoloft!!!! LOL!
