  1. Sorry your having difficulty...hope your situation improves...Im 5 weeks post my gastric bypass and have been mostly non problematic. I completely agree with you on getting the new job situation. I sooooo need a new change!!!! Funny how we both did our resume after surgery. Unfortunately, the jobs for what I work in are limited because I live in a college town...been thinking of making a move change to increase my chances ...Best luck in your job search!!
  2. I absolutely love an ice cold mountain dew...will miss them!! but surprising doing well with controlling the urges of old thinking....think of it like this... that diet coke doesn't feel nearly as good as your body shrinking down and fitting in those beautiful clothes...great motivation...I also was a serious coffee drinker prior to surgery, and only at the decaf stage, but cant don't even like the taste anymore.. it's soooo weird...

I too find it difficult to get all my water in...feels like all I do is count cals, protein, water, etc all day...Big Kudos on the weight loss...it's such a great feeling to be able to get into new size clothes..I am only about 5 weeks post op, but already smaller size clothes are fitting better...I so look forward to fitting in my other clothes.. good for you!!!

  5. I drink the myoplex protein shakes...each has 30gms of protein, and taste pretty go for protein...I get them at Costco...Sure helps to get those extra protein grams in when I cant get them from the food...also taste good if you put in freezer and eat like a slushy..
  6. Hey everyone....Sorry it's taken me so long to get back here...I am approx. 5 weeks post gastric surgery now, and feeling great!!!...I had a good experience from surgery until now...surprised I haven't had many problems, with the exception of getting more motivated to boost up my exercise program. Ive lost approx. 24 lbs since july 18 surgery, and it feels so good to be finally getting into smaller clothes... such a great confidence boost. Question: anyone have any good resources for vitamins? looking for the sugar free that I can actually stomach the taste. thanks for any help.... Julz

  12. It's 2 weeks until I have my surgery, and feeling excited and nervous all in one...I know this will be life changing, and am ready to take the challenge on, but don't fool myself...this is gonna be a challenge!! I've been very selective to whom I tell what im doing, although, I know they will see the difference soon....guess the stigmatisn of gastric surgery to some people is the easy way out...but we all know better...learning my diet, and the road I have ahead of me is by far the most challenging diet I will ever face...a life time challenge if I want success...and failure for me is not an option...my health is counting on it. So, if anyone has any tips, good websites, or food preferences that they like I would appreciate any help. Julz
