  5. Welcome! My name is Shannon I had my rny on march 12th and I've lost 21 pounds since . I'm sooooo tired of the puree foods I'm ready to chew! Lol congrats on the weight loss!
  6. I know this maybe t.m.I but has anyone had problems with constipation? I knew it was coming with the vitamins and pain meds but wow! Does anyone have any advice on how to beat it besides milk of mag? I was thinking like maybe taking fiber... idk any advice welcome at this point!

  8. My surgery was march 12th I've been on puree since and I've found beans work great with a little chicken broth blended. Ive also been doing cannon light and fit yogurt and its awesome. I will say please eat slow no more what you eat because if you eat it to fast you will regret it lol. Good luck to ya!

  14. I've heard its completely normal but I can't help for feeling down. I'm a week and 4 days post op been doing everything the same as the first week and I've actually gained 3 pounds when my first week I lost 20. Can't help but think I'm gonna fail or the surgery isn't gonna work for me . I know its probably to early to get upset but I can't help it. just wanted to vent thanks!
  15. My fluid intake changed over night yesterday was the first time I was able to finish a 8 oz cup of water at one time.
  16. Hey y'all! I'm one week post op today. I feel pretty good , pureed food is for the birds! I can't wait just to be able to chew.
  17. Heating pad, gas x strips, and milk of magnesia are definatly a blessing post op! I can begin to stress how much I've used my heating pad! Lol Getting closer girlie!
  18. Today makes one week post op for me and my tummy still hurts me . My incisions are healed but most of my pain feels like gas or bloating pain.

  20. I did the same thing ! Wondering if it was gonna work or if I should have had the sleeve or surgery at all but honey let me tell ya 15 pounds in 3 days feels great! I'll take it! Would have the surgery again tomorrow! good luck tomorrow!

  23. I'm with you on the single parent thing I have 5 year old twins and a 8 year old. I over did it today and I feel like poo. But some good news I've lost 13 pounds since Friday!
