  1. Hello everyone. My name is Mary and I am new here. Had my surgery August 24,2012 and am down 95 pounds so far. Seem to be at a major stall now and trying to get out of it. I am type 2 diabetic and went from uncontrolled blood sugars before surgery to now they are controlled. Not off meds yet but getting there. My health has improved greatly as a result of this surgery and I would not change a thing. Looking forward to getting to know people who have had the same surgery.
