  1. Baked lean center cut pork chops with fresh corn on the cob. Never got the corn in got sick with the pork chop. I'm thinking meat doesn't agree with me.
  2. That is so very heart melting sweet.
  3. I keep looking at all her health issues and begging her to listen to me and try to regain her health but wls..stubborn tho. I call this rebuilding "my temple" we have various religious differences nowadays.
  4. I just love all of u guys and am so thankful for the support
  5. I know and the support means alot to me. This is a medical professional as well who worked with me and should know the over all benefits. I just think its time to move on in that relationship cause I don't know if I can stay with someone who obviously thinks I'm "cheating". I do have to honestly say that's really about the only negative feedback I've had. My mom had my crying the day is surgery about how I was ruining my temple etc but honestly if that's the case..cheating or ruining my temple or whatever..I prob should have done it sooner! I do at least get up and move more now and feel so much better!
  6. Well maybe I'm being sensitive. Idk. I told my hubby about it when he got home. I had said something about I'm working out more and id like to get strong and do a half marathon in Nov if I could. I told her watching extreme makeover edition last night inspired me too how the girl was so strong. She make the comment that maybe I should have just watched that before I had surgery. That I cheated. Idk maybe I took t wrong but..that kinda hurt me. It hasn't been easy.
  7. It sucks. I didn't expect this. I was limited to who I told but close friends I didn't hide it from.
  8. I had a friend that made a little dig at me about my surgery. It's really hurtful. I don't know if I can really move on from that. I've had little digs by her before but I've told her in no set limits I needed this because of my addiction. It's hard for someone who has never battled their weight to really be sympathetic to the struggles. All I ask for is the support for me and the decision I made. I don't think I will be friends with this person much longer.
  9. Aww thank u!!!
  10. I've been doing the old nursing trick with prunes or prune juice followed by hot coffee. I've never had this kinda prob in my life.
  11. That's the worst part of the whole surgery!!!! I eat prunes daily because of this. Not much helps bit that for me
  12. Wahoo!!!! Yay!!!! Congrats Dori
  13. I've not lost any friends but I've had some dynamics change for sure. People either adapt with u I suppose or move along. It's hard when all of a sudden you start changing and if they are not accepting of the changes u naturally experience afterwards they will not be secure enough to stay. I wanted this to improve myself and real friends want u to do it and grow with u.
