  5. I am going on my second week and the protein shakes are getting tiresome. I can't wait until next Tuesday for surgery. At least after surgery we can have a little bit of real food. We will never be back to the food we were loving but at least real food!!!! Good luck.
  6. I am pre op. I have my surgery June 11
  7. Our day is coming soon! I am moving next week, have a birthday and then start my two week diet. I have been so excited for all the new things to come
  8. I know how that can be. I lost about 80 lbs out of high school and I thought I was so fat and hideous. But I see pictures of that now and think how could I have thought that? I could see my collar bones and I had a waist. You have to work on it really. Happiness is not always easy to come by when you have low self esteem. Surround yourself with positive people and enjoy each day that you weigh less than you did. You are a step closer to a healthier you with each positive healthy thing you do. God bless.
  9. I hope that all goes well for you. I know how heart problems can get in the way of things.
  10. Sounds good. I am very hopeful. I am excited for Monday because it will be my last visit with the surgeon before surgery.
  11. I knew there had to be. Are you pre or post op?
  12. Awesome! I know how it feels and we don't have far to go.
  13. I have pre-op appointment Monday. I'm a little nervous but my surgery is only 4.5 weeks away!
  14. I got a 3 month supply from opuity for all vitamins needed for about 70 dollars. I haven't tried them yet but I did nibble on the mvi and it tasted good.
  15. Are there any KCMO people out there?
  16. I can't wait. I am so excited. Anyone else having their surgery in June 2013?
  17. Good luck! I went to the seminar in December and had to go through 3 months of physician assisted dieting. I finished my classes in the beginning of April and knew two weeks later that I was approved.
  18. Thank you. I am hopeful and ready for my new life, so to say. I have been dealing with a weight problem since puberty and I'm ready to be and feel different.
  19. Good for you! Don't let anyone tell you what you should be. Enjoy your new life and forget about people with negative things to say.
  20. I have been a member at the YMCA for a long time. I like going there but every city differs in their YMCA. I would go take a tour and if you like to swim like I do they offer a good water aerobics class.
  21. I just found this app. I am new to things like this. However I have my surgery scheduled for June 11th and it's exciting. I see my surgeon for pre-op on Monday. I believe I will end up starting my two week diet on or the day after my 30th birthday. I hope to go into my 30s more healthy and I am sure more happy. I can not wait to exercise without this load on me. I'm sure my body will not look perfect but I will be able to do much more than I can now which is exciting. I cannot ride my bicycle so that is one of my goals and who knows maybe I will like it so much that I will find other bike people to ride with. We will see. It has to be better than where I am now.
