  1. I feel the same. I just sip, sip, sip and walk, walk, walk. I sip very small amounts. I am getting the gases out of my stomach and feeling better all along. I always feel full and have no desire for food which is fine by me. I'm sure this will get better as time goes on. Keep in touch and good luck!! HW: 320 CW: 287 GW: 175 WLS: 4/30/13
  2. I'm not hungry for anything. I could take them and just drink water. I absolutely have no cravings for food and I'm not bothered by other people eating around me. Everyone is different and you need to do what "you" feel comfortable with. I know we don't want to disappoint our children, but if it could cause you to stumble, you should stay clear from the situation. Good luck tomorrow and have a great weekend!! HW: 320 CW: 287 GW: 175 WLS: 4/30/13
  3. Today was a great day! I went back on pain meds this AM. I walked a bit more today. I am really getting rid of the gas now! My doctor has me on clear liquids for the first 6 days. Absolutely no gas meds. He said I will pass the gas quickly if I walk more. Less pain in my stomach all the time. Tomorrow going to try a mile walk. My drain is really draining well. I go back for my follow up on Monday. Blood pressure is normal and blood sugar is 102. I'm not on any meds at all! PTL! HW: 320 CW: 287 GW: 175 WLS: 4/30/13
  4. Surgery went well. No setbacks. I got home Wednesday night. Tried to stop the pain meds last night. Still a lot of stomach pain. Went back on them this morning. Feels like someone hitting me in the stomach! I came home 15 lbs heavier than when I went in. I have lost 9 lbs since getting home. I'm going for walks, drinking my Water & for a treat I eat a SF Popsicle! Life is good and I am taking it one day at a time! Love to all!! HW: 320 CW: 287 GW: 175 WLS: 4/30/13

  10. Congratulations! You're a day ahead of me...My surgery is Tuesday! I'm ready!! Keep us updated!! HW: 320 CW: 290 GW: 175 WLS: 4/30/13
  11. Day 7 of pre-op diet. It's not been that bad :-) I have been able to drop 27 lbs since Jan. 1st. Surgery date is April 30th. I'm ready for my life without diabetes & high blood pressure! I'm thinking this surgery should be a breeze compared to my last surgery where I donated my left kidney to our daughter in 2003. It was a open surgery that left me with a 8" scar on my left side. I would do it all over again and our daughter has since gave birth to a healthy baby boy 3 years ago! HW: 320 CW: 291 Goal: 175.
  12. I'm new here. Just found this today! My surgery date is April 30th!
