Today is one week and I am down 10 lbs... Not including the 7 gained from surgery. I am feeling great. No problems than I hate sleeping. I wake up with the worst back pain. I have a ton of energy and am able to pretty much be back to normal life activity outside major exercising. I can definitely get up and go no problem. I am even back to work today. When you all are mentioning how much you have lost since surgery are you going off of the higher weight from the additional added from surgery or the before surgery weight? CandiH, Spring, TX_Surgery Date 4/22/13

I am not having a great day. Everything tastes bad. I have a horrible taste in my mouth that I can't get rid of. I just have no desire to put anything else in my mouth. I am a little down as i had my surgery Monday and am only down 2 lbs since morning of surgery. I am achey and sore and just not feeling this today. SW 222 HW 229 CW 220 surgery date 4/22/13

Today is my first day home. gas pains are bad today. Gas X strips do not work. The chewable ones do. I never knew passing gas could feel so good. But then once I started passing gas I've had diarrhea all day. Every time I drink water, take meds or vitamins I am headed to the bathroom. And asking my husband to wipe me is humiliating. I am planning on only taking one week off. I work a desk job but it is also full time from home. How are most people feeling in week 2? My boyfriend's (now husband) company was acquired by another company who had the benefit on their insurance. We got married, added me to his coverage in March 2010 and I started the process for insurance approval that April. By the end of May we were advised his company decided to remove the benefit from their medical coverage. I was heart broken to say the least. Fast forward to 2013, my husband changed companies again who has the benefit on their medical insurance. I started the process over again in January. I was notified on Friday I was approved and took the first available slot for surgery. I am not giving his company the chance to term the coverage for May 1st!!!

I am in Spring, Tx. Going through Neweigh with Dr. Jayakumar in Houston. Surgery is scheduled for Monday April 22nd.
